Beautiful location, very quaint, we were offered inside, outside under shades, front courtyard or another courtyard....oooo decisions, decisions, we chose front courtyard, lovely breeze, total shade as it was one of the hottest days. Food was lovely and service. Will definitely return.

What a brilliant place. Lots of carparking spaces but very very full even on a Wednesday night. Food was great, we cleared our plates. Our server was absolutely lovely, knowledgeable, really enthusiastic about the different dishes on the menu and really funny. I think she was called Sue (lady with long blonde/white hair) nothing was too much trouble for her. Make sure you book a table as it was very busy and tables were vacated and then filled again within minutes.

Visited for a meal with my family whilst on holiday and couldn’t be more pleased with our whole experience. They food was absolutely beautiful (9 meals and all amazing.) The service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. The location is beautiful and there was plenty of room for guests. Thank you for a wonderful evening 😊

Fantastic food and atmosphere, the staff were really friendly. The food arrived in a very quick time. Couldn't ask for any better service. As we booked ahead when we arrived there was a bowl of water waiting for the dog too.

Decent pub food, some specials, extensive menu, mix of largely bought in with some home made elements. It was busy for tea time service, then quietened quickly after 7.30. Our staff seemed to be experienced but new to the pub, and had too many tables so we had to hang around for periods waiting for drinks which were ordered or menu choices to be relayed back to us.The pub itself had a lovely decor (bar made of a counter top on old barrel fronts) and thatched roof etc, very quaint, but the extension area which we sat near to the entrance door of inside the main pub was freezing and when the door was (frequently) left open it was bitterly cold in the draught which came through. There was a large choice of ales and drinks and the place was massive with all the little annexes and extensions, so if you were a drinker camped on the site just opposite it would probably be very appealing.I wouldn't rush back personally.

Fantastic all round experience. Staff friendly , accommodating and knowledgeable. Food fabulous there were 6 of us who all had a different main meal which were gorgeous. Our friend has to have gluten free meals and this was by far the best menu we have found. Thoroughly recommend a visit . Amazing xx

After a had days fishing, my mate and myself treated ourselves to what we thought would be a simple burger & fries. How wrong were we? Very wrong, a perfectly cooked, hand made burger. These burgers looked & tasted delicious. Worth every penny.

Closest, decent looking pub to the campsite.. saw it online and booked. We were not disappointed - good food and staff were friendly and helpful (especially when it came to the extra veg and gravy). Thank you.

Friendly and helpful staff, good food, especially the cheesecake. We sat outside and the view across the valley was very relaxing.
