The very best scones and cake I’ve ever tasted. Ever. Baked fresh every day. Additional wonderful surprises too.

Possibly the loveliest little tea room I've ever been in! Amazing little garden that has had so much love and effort put into it. The service was great, both people that served us were polite and welcoming. We both had a cream tea (one with peppermint, one with earl grey). The scones were huge and warm, but still had a crunch to them, obviously not microwaved like some other places we've experienced! You get a lot of jam and cream and I'm pretty sure the jam was homemade! We had massive pots of tea each which we couldn't finish but they were served in beautiful miss matched teapots and cups, just like traditional tea rooms! The best part is probably that is was so quiet, considering how busy Newquay has been we expected to not get in, but easily found a table in the best spot (next to the roses). Will definitely visit when back in Cornwall and have already recommended to family and friends.

Lovely well kept pretty flower garden. Teas unfortunately mediocre standard, small portions and expensive for what you get. First time I have been given only 1 scone not 2 . 1 for the price of 2 feels mean ! The savoury version could be really nice if a decent size piece of proper vintage cheddar instead of tiny slithers of processed cheddar. The chutney seemed to have been made in a food processor complete with gritty bits of minced up spices. Service rather confused, I didn't get a cup!

Awesome surprise to come across this tea room. We all loved our cream teas and savory cream tea. A nice slab of cake for one of our group. Owner was really friendly! Nice garden as well to walk around and easy parking behind.

The tearoom behind the village store is is a hidden gem. You are unlikely to drive passed it but you must make the effort for exceptional food and garden area. Sit inside or preferably outside in the garden surrounded by flowers of every shape, colour and scent. The food, served fresh, is delicious and plentyful and at a good price. Service is friendly and welcoming.

Always came here when we're down in Mawgan Porth as it's a nice walk from the beach and the food is always great and presented beautifully. Gardens are lovely and the grapevines in the conservatory are brilliant!

A little gem in Cornwall. We went for lunch at the tea room after visiting the Japanese garden around the corner. The food and service was great and the surroundings are lovely. Our group had jacket potatoes, sweet cream tea and savoury cream teas. The savoury cream tea chutney is also really good.
