Our First Time Experience At Tintagel Castle In Irina’s Restraunt I Booked a table for My Partners Birthday in the eve and he’s a Farmer so this was a real fabulous Treat and we are only 30mins away And Ohooo! My!!! To have this most Stunning Beautiful Castle suddenly Appear as we drive up to it is a OMG Wow!!!! Gob Smacker to say the least... Walking up the entrance is taking a step back in time not looking at some of the very posh cars mind. And we certainly didn’t expect to go in through Roundy Swing Around Doors which brought the Naughty Side out of both of us Ha! Then the Hallway well for us both the Architecture Beautiful Paintings love the photos on the walls and the restoration photos some before and after which you can see for yourself some still being done an on going sensitive historical not a project we think a an act of shear love devotion and time energy and not to say money that has been is still going into restoring the Beautiful Castle inside and outside another on going 10yrs to complete we was told. And we both certainly think what Amazing Family to take this on this Castle is worth Saving That’s For Sure! We was both greeted by lovely polite staff who couldn’t do enough to welcome us both my coat was taken and shown to our table in Irina’s Restaurant We love the Oldy Wordy feel I absolutely love dark wood the chandeliers are massive So impressive we just couldn’t stop looking at everything again what Amazing Beautiful Pictures on the walls we was shown a lovely very Romantic window table large glass candles burning in jars this was just Setting our experience off to a T... Very Atmospheric just lovely we was literally waited on hand and foot very polite and lovely staff to talk too and then the choice of foods on the menu We ordered and the service was absolutely Top Notch we didn’t wait long choices of 2/3 courses our starter we chose the local sourced crab and Beetroot Salmon arriving very quickly and both our plates was looking Stunning to good to eat and mess it up but... it was blooming delicious a really great wine list our main we both chose the fillet steak I can honestly say this was the best local sourced fillet steak we hav both tasted done to each of our tastes Absolutely Perfect melt in the mouth and wasn’t a small Measly piece of steak was a beauty piece with the taste to go with it That’s For Sure! Then OMG!! We decided we couldn’t resist a pud.. A lovely choice again , not just ice creams But!!! Super Delicious Icecreams lots of flavours we both went for Super Chocolate and the White Chocolate Cheesecake wish I had a few more descriptions I could go on ... I won’t though you can get the idea Not a morsel left we ate the lot. We both said A Massive Complements to their Amazing Chef And Staff behind the scenes. Then when we finished we had a lovely member of staff come over and chat to us checking everything was ok and asking us about if we was local and just showing an interest and telling about the restorations ongoing some of the history we loved that personal touch then we was shown to the lounges there is also a separate bar and another lounge area where you can hav light lunches or afternoon tea was very warm welcoming and relaxing the big lounge then has The Beautiful Round Table And Chairs impressive fireplace a harp and piano love other touches Like Merlins Post Box that’s a great idea. We are both taken back by our surroundings and we understand that restoration has to continue has to take place while still in use to experience all sides of this beautiful castle . I saw some Beautiful tiles on the walls the Ladies is being restored at the moment but work must go on .... After a gentle walk and one last look around lots of sighs deep breaths and wonder it was time to go back to life on the farm we both had a very Magical Experience A Lovely Birthday Surprise for my Partner and we can’t wait to come back very soon.. it’s My Birthday Next Month I Hinted a fair few times Ha!!! 😀 Thankyou to All The Very Hard Working Staff Inside And Outside And The Family who live there. X

You wait at the entrance of the dinning room where they check your room number before being guided to a waiting table. It's a fair size dinning area with large viewing windows to one side offering good views of the sea and good lighting to the dinning room, the four chandeliers and the art paintings on the wall.The breakfast menu is a good selection of cereals and the usual breakfast fry ups. No black pudding's. I like my eggs well done and they did them perfectly. The white was still white with no brown bits or brown edges, perfect. And they tasted good to.Just watch your waist line. The staff are very friendly, approachable and will see that you are happy with their service.

Highly recommended. Wonderful meal at Irina's restaurant at the Camelot Castle Hotel. Excellent service, will definitely be returning.

Attended a function there. Food uninspiring and bland. Tables very crowded and difficult to move between them for guests and waiters

Fur coat no knickers is how I can only describe the experience in the restaurant. Beautiful, stunning location etc but food in restaurant was awful. Please, please get your act together this fabulous place needs and deserves to provide the standard of cuisine that customers hard earned money deserves, not to leave feeling cheated. I want to return.

I was recently treated to a meal here by some friends who live and work in St Teath. The building is very impressive and I felt as if I was royalty on entry. The staff were very friendly and we were offered a choice of table. The views from there are simply stunning as most windows overlook the Atlantic ocean. The decor is amazing with much of the artwork by one of the owners...a really talented artist. The food was superb and the service swift and efficient. As we dined, the sun began to set over the ocean which added to the romance of the entire experience. All in all we had a fantastic evening with lovely friends in one of the most special settings imaginable. We will definitely return and would very highly recommend.
