Been here twice during our weekend getaway in Cornwall. Amazing place, really outstanding, interesting name and interior, but ofc most importantly - excellent food. Porridge that tastes like cake, American pancakes with bacon, just a plain sausage sandwich - all excellent quality and taste. Oh, and American style large portions. We made a mistake first time - assumed we need two portions each and ordered eight items. Couldn't finish it, had to wrap toasts with jam to go. Bakery and croissants great as well. One thing that I would change is blend of coffee. It's great coffee, but I prefer more bitter blends than sour ones. That's personal preference tho, I still had a triple-shot espresso on our second time there :)

Disappointed. Told to use the QR code for the menu, that's nice coming out with the family all looking at our phones! When I said we don't want to do that we were given two paper menus , there was four of us!Very little choice and very expensive. This does not cater for locals, who can afford a minimum of £11 for a sandwich?Environment very noisy, lots of hard surfaces and high ceilings.Door left wide open, I guess that's due to Covid, but it was very cold in there.Decided not to order and left, went to The Swan in Wadebridge where we had proper menus and friendly service, tasty food with a good price.

Such a fabulous place. Great food and drinks and a fantastic team. Definitely one of the best breakfasts you'll find in Cornwall (or anywhere else). A great variety, though I must admit I always go for the full English. Very highly recommended.

Had full English breakfast quality was good. Sausage seems low fat as it had a firm dry texture. Baked beans were of homemade variety so not the normal lurid red poached egg choice of toast. But with the quality comes at a price so yes be prepared. Coffee was very nice and more averagely priced. As was the lunch menu. Decor was good staff friendly and helpful. Noticed that we had finished our coffees and asked if we wanted another. Was busy with a nice atmosphere. Yes will go back to try the lunch menu.

We always stop here when we’re in the area! Coffee is amazing, decor is cool, and it’s dog friendly.

Went in on a whim whilst passing. We were so pleasantly surprised. Modern interior, friendly staff and amazingly delicious food! An amazing place to shelter from the rain and feed two very hungry bellies 😊

Me and my partner recently visited Strong Adolfos and it was amazing! We appreciate a good cuppa coffee but we also stayed for food as the menu looked great! I ordered the pancakes and they were super fluffy and light, the bacon was cooked really nicely and the banana was a delicious addition. My partner had the full english and he was really impressed with the quality and taste. It was quite pricey but we really enjoyed it so felt it was worth it! The staff were really friendly and attentive. Loved the feel and decor as well, we will definitely be making a trip back next summer when we're on our holidays! 😎☕🥞

Good half way house style stop point, toilets and diner. Good sized car park with parking at the rear too. Food and drink and very good, with slightly above average pricing, but great tasting food and coffee.Food and drink ordered from the table.Good stop point between Newquay and Padstow/Port Isaac.

Great food, great service & great environment. Best place for breakfast we found in this part of Cornwall

The best flat white I’ve had in ages. Great service, even on a busy morning. Brilliant cooked breakfast and bacon butty - would have taken a photo but they didn’t last that long.
