Summer House in Cornwall

We have a lovely lunch here. There’s a deck area with views of the beach and the restaurant also has bi-fold doors to extend that al fresco vibe. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good choice of wines and beers. The food is appealing, fresh and delicious. Some nice touches with inventive ingredients and charity donations made when you purchase certain dishes. I would recommend this restaurant for relaxed dining al fresco.

The views at The Summerhouse are fantastic. If the weather is dry then take the opportunity to sit at a balcony table and take in the sights and sounds of Perrenporth. I shared my first "surf and turf" (half a lobster with a steak) and was impressed with both the presentation and taste. The staff were pleasant and helpful and just added to a great experience.

Lovely location, great outdoors with views across the beach. Food was amazing. Got a little bit let down on the hot chocolate. Menu's are a little cryptic. Service was good, all staff were polite and joyful.

Popped out for some late lunch here one Sunday, all staff were super friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was lovely but most importantly the food was delicious! Had a sharing surf and turf, good price for the amount of food. Will definitely be going there again.

We visited twice on in our holidays, returning because it was so good! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, genuinely wanted to serve. The views are stunning and the food is delicious. We had the lobster special and drinks one visit and the lobster platter, pictured, the second visit. The special sub was plenty for a light meal. The feast was a big meal for the day.The marguerita was one of the best ever experienced! This place deserves every star!

Such a cute restaurant with great views of the beach. As soon as you sit down, you know from the velvet blue of the booth chairs and the wooden menu, you're in for a slightly 21st century hipster experience. And for people like me, I was so into it!My partner and I both had the vegan feast (served on a roasting tray), but it was honestly the best food I had had at a restaurant for a long time! Vegetarian /vegan meals at restaurants are so boring (pasta, curries etc) so it was really refreshing to eat something that couldn't have come out of my own kitchen - although I will definitely try to replicate it now!The staff were really friendly and food came quickly!

One of the best cooked burgers I've had! Gucci chips were super tasty too.It would be good to see some American style condiments though, particularly missed French's mustard, which is a classic on a burger.It would also be amazing if they did a proper southern style burger feast, with all the sides. I'm from Alabama and to find that in deepest Cornwall would be incredible. Please please add it to the menu, I know the guys that own the place have spent some time in the States, you know what I'm talking about 😋

Ignore the negative reviews - this place is fabulous. Great staff who let us know as much of the ingredients are locally sourced which may explain why you won’t see rock bottom prices. Loved the surf and turf menu, I had the lobster which was incredible. Very generous portions of fries, the Gucci ones were worth it. They DO have a childrens menu available and are very child friendly. Fantastic location and views. We will be back!

Absolutely gorgeous food, lovely service and the most wonderful views! Lobster and Steak cooked to perfection, will definitely return!
