My second Visit here 3 months apart as working locally. The first visit I couldn't fault, the food was amazing, everything was cooked to a very high authentic standard. Tonight was my second visit, and I wondered if the quality of the food was a one off last time. It wasn't, the restaurant may look a little tired and in need of a spruce up, but the food is literally amazing, tender, fresh and so flavoursome. It knocks spots off of my local Indian. 5 stars simply on the quality of the food.

Amazing, amazing food. Had a delivery from Sunny Spice on our holidays and it was one of the best currys we've ever had....We have a local South Indian at home and the food is quite different to your traditional British curry, really flavourful and light rather than the thick sauces, it's also a bit healthier and less fatty.Equally it's great sunny spice have some more regular Curry's on the menu if that's your thing, but really recommend trying something different to your usual and explore the menu. The Dosas are immense, had the pumpkin one and the flavour was superb, great mix of spices, not hot but full of flavour - better than anything I've had on brick lane - and a massive portion!Even the popadoms and chutney selection blew us away...Try something different, expect you won't regret it!

Food lovely , however portion sizes are very small along with the chutney tray which is tiny and they have stopped including spiced onions which are really cheap to make ! I think they just think it’s a holiday town so it doesn’t matter but for locals like myself it’s poor.

Wonderful food, full of flavour, and a great variety for both starters and mains. Not a great selection for desserts but then we (the family) all said you don't norammly associatea large selection of desserts with an Indian. To top it off the service was brilliant; everyone was very attentive and cheerful, and they were very accommodating considering we have a 6 month old in a pram and they put us at a table where the pram wouldn't get in the way. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We had a really lovely meal. It was wonderful to try the Southern Indian choices from their menu. So much better than your normal Indian restaurant. We came by boat and when we’re back in Fowey will definitely come again!

Not great to be honest, portion size was small, chuckneys was filled with very little and starters was EXTREMELY small, flavours on main courses was quite bland and basic so sadly let us down on our anniversary meal out, but on the flip side of the coin the ambience was nice and the staff were polite altho you had barely sat down and and taken your jacket off and there was a waiter/waitress asking you if you had chosen yet lol, so in all food was not great at all but the ambience and staff were nice hence the 2 stars but I will not be going again.

Proper south India food and not the generic stuff that gets passed as so called Indian food in most of the UK. The squid is lovely as are the lamb dishes. Don’t forget masala dosas if you are vegetarian

We had a lovely meal, food was so nice. There were lots of authentic indian choices on the menu. It tasted really fresh. Staff were fantastic, the waitress was lovely and recommended that she would order my son's meal straight away so he wouldn't get fed up waiting while we ate popadoms and starters. Another of the waiter's (young man with red hair) was super friendly and attentive. He was charismatic and chatted to all the customers. We were really impressed and will visit again.
