Amazing spicy thai green curry with prawns with a refreshing drink Talay Spritz! Caitlyn the server, had very good suggestions for what to order which made the visit even better. Absolutely loved the service, the staff and the food. The beautiful view of the water should make this restaurant a must try for all St Ives visitors.

Went there for dinner, it’s super crowded since it was a Friday night.Got a table after 50 mins of waiting since we wanted a table of sea view but it was all worth it.We had the best Thai food in the UK.It’s little expensive and portions are also not big but taste was not at all compromised. We have ordered a couple of dishes and drinks, everything was delicious.

Yes, this is the kinda place where you need to wait and self advocate, but after days of various fish and pasties… Talay hit the spot!On a Sunday night I had a 1 hour wait after inquiring about a table around 6:30. After arriving I competed with the other diners for the attention of servers to order, ask for water, and every step of the dining process - just prepare for that!I took advantage of the tapas style options and got a Panang curry, chili aubergine, and coconut rice. They were absolutely delicious. Flavorful, mild curry and lightly sautéed aubergine with a great sauce. All in all, loved this meal. In fact it was so good that I only took a photo after I ate 90% of the curry and 50% of the aubergine…Check out the photo for the size or the tapas portions.

The food was excellent and authentic (as I’m also Thai and can confirm that the food is an authentic flavour 💯). If you love Thai and spicy food, it is a MUST visit. The location is in a beautiful spot by the beach as you can enjoy your food and the beach at the same time. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Enjoy spending time here. Thank you for the delicious food!

The most wonderfully flavoursome and tasty food. A taste explosion infact. The place was packed out for a week night which is a promising sign. The food was reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly. I had thai red curry and my other half had pan fried sea bream with calamari and both dishes were amazing and cooked perfectly. Definitely worth a visit and certainly not a place to miss.

A nice place with friendly and helpful staff, a separate but very limited vegan menu with no option for any curry, just stir frys and a couple of salads available.Portion sizes are on the small size but the food was tasty (we ordered full size dishes not tapas).Pros: Food is niceCons: Portion sizes way too small for the price, Only stir-fry and salad options for vegans

What is there to say about this place. It is a conundrum, an enigma. Without doubt it is one of the best restaurants in St Ives. The food is absolutely delicious and....if you manage to get a window seat, then the views are spectacular. However, it has a downside. It's popularity means they don't really care about you, the Customer. You can't book in advance over the phone, you have to visit the restaurant, it's first come first served and sometimes we have waited for over an hour for a seat or 2hrs for them to ring back and say you have a table available now. Sometimes, you don't get a phone call. Because they are greedy, they make you order the starters and mains at the same time so that they can shorten your stay and get more customers in to maximise their profits. Its a captive audience and they don't really care. Perhaps if they had competition, another Thai restaurant in the Town, then their attitude and Customers enjoyment might improve......Until then, it's every man for himself....!!

Delicious Thai food. Papaya salad was the best one I’ve had so far. Everything was seasoned well , cooked and presented nicely. Portions are on the smaller side but flavour wise it was high quality. Great tasting seafood with Thai twist. The drinks were awesome too, the Thai milk tea was amazing.Amazing ambience, staff attentive and friendly and seating with view was spot on.Probably the only Thai restaurant in St Ives. Highly recommended.
