Temple, Bude in Cornwall

Absolutely fantastic food and wine. We’re vegan and they catered for us with the most wonderful menu, full of fresh veg and creativity. The flatbread, radish and sunflower paste, and the kimchi pickled veg were divine.

Absolutely delicious meal, really interesting fresh dishes using local ingredients composed into a tasty menu. Well stocked bar and excellent service highly recommend will be back soon

I went to Temple twice while visiting. They have a vegan and vegetarian friendly menu while also allowing a farm to table meat selection. The menu is smaller but the options are all delicious. The desserts are also the best in the area.

Really tasty, fresh food. So much flavour! Glad we booked here for a meal to enjoy during our short stay in Bude. We have been meaning to eat here each time we have visited for the past few years and would book again.

Temple has its own thing going on with a laid back calm air in bright and simple decor and a friendly ambience.The set menu is a good idea, leaving you with only a few choices to make, freeing you to enjoy the company you are there with.The food is well presented and made with care, the guys at the front of house know their stuff and the few hours we enjoyed there whizzed by.It’s hard to find a menu with a dominant vegetarian theme in Cornwall, but here it’s the big brother, not the poor relation which was appreciated. Meat eaters are still amply covered though.It was mostly adults, but ta few tables had impeccably behaved children, and it was good to see them being exposed to a decent dining experience, and seeing their parents enjoy food.I also really appreciated the funny little vase of local flowers on the table, but regret not asking what the Hardcore really is about.Thanks guys, and remember, don’t get too emotional about the place. Just be an emo instead 😬

Really nice place with a tasty, seasonal menu. Staff were super nice and very accommodating. Loved that I would not normally order some of the things on the menu but when they came we absolutely loved it.

The food was faultless. Everything on every plate was so fresh tasting and full of flavour. The best pork belly I've ever had! Highly recommended.

Easy to book. Staff friendly on phone. Very welcoming when we arrived. Attentive and charming waiting staff. We had the evening set meal plus cocktails and dessert. Quality food at reasonable prices.
