Had a meal at Bassett Arms last night (16th Dec ) and it was delicious. We had the Christmas menu. Starter of prawn/crayfish with horseradish cream, roast turkey and all the trimmings and to finish,Christmas pudding and cream. The roast was 10/10...plenty of it and lovely and hot...can't find fault at all. Only criticism is the horseradish cream with the prawns...to my mind,it didn't really go together. Service was fab too. Well done Bassett...see you soon 😀

We were staying in Portreath and had Sunday Lunch here and returned for a drink and had a selection of starters and cheesy chips. Fantastic pint and great food - very generous portions. Great staff too

Food was brilliant - really good and home cooked. Brilliant atmosphere & the staff are very welcoming. Mussels were caught the same day, tasted brilliant with the sauce. Steak was cooked to perfection - homemade chips were delicious. A bit expensive - but you get what you pay for. A stones throw from the popular Portreath Beach. I’d highly recommend you give it a go.Photos Are Of (In Order)Dirty FriesChickenSea Food Stew

Quant Cornish pub with everything you would expect, including a lovely landlady to make your you feel most welcome. We only had drinks, but I am sure the food will equal the rest of the experience.

What a lovely friendly pub! A big party of around 25 of us were on holiday over the new year period and at different times had some of us popped in there on the way to or from the beach. One day we all landed there all wanting to eat, staff were fantastic and very accommodating. All the food was served hot and in good time and delicious! Dog friendly too.Would definitely recommend to others.
