"The Garden Bar & Restaurant with on trend foliage brings ‘the outside in’ and harmonises with the Ivy Chelsea gardens outside. While the conservatory’s large windows boast magnificent views of the coast, harbour and sparkling seas across Mount’s Bay. The perfect backdrop to enjoy great food in Penzance. Our chef, Ben Reeve, seeks out the best seasonal ingredients from Cornish growers and the best catch from our fish merchants in Newlyn and St Ives. Constantly evolving and inventive menus mean we’ve retained our award-winning status for over 10 years now. We take pride in the joy of good food without any pretension. Join us to relax in good company and tuck into hearty fare or delicate small plates. We look forward to welcoming you soon."

Absolutely fab waiter, we visited on a sunny Monday he was polite, attentive and efficient. The food was delicious and great that it is dog friendly inside and out.

Breathtakingly good. We've never had such brilliant roast lunch. Great quality. Extremely generous portions. Very friendly service. Spectacular views of the bay. Our 3 children all had a lovely time too and enjoyed their kid's menu choice.Highly recommended.

We were very fortunate to find The Bay on our circular walk around Rame Head. It turned a beautiful walk into a memorable day. We enjoyed a light lunch and drinks overlooking the bay. The location, service and food were all excellent, and our two dogs were welcomed with bowls of water and dog treats. We will definitely be returning.

I visit the Bay regularly. The food is always excellent. I had the most delicious fish chowder on my last visit. Lovely friendly and efficient staff. I have one criticism however, on some visits service has been rather slow even when it hasn't been busy. Definitely would recommend.

We were lucky enough to get a table outside without a reservation. Amazing views and absolutely fantastic food at great prices. The staff were always available to help and the customer service was on point. Food is served from 5pm and the restrraunt is often fully booked but will accept walk in if they are able. Free parking available round the corner. Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other dishes.

Pretty much the only place to sit and enjoy the view of Cawsands, so it was a huge plus that the food was lovely too! I had the Mussels, which were very flavourful! We will definitely come back when we’re in the area as there’s lots of yummy sounding food on the menu to try next time.

A fabulous evening meal here with a group of nine - four adults and five children. All were really well catered for, we ordered a range of dishes off the menu and all were absolutely delicious. I had the steak, which at £24 was the most expensive item on the standard menu - but I’m so glad I went for it and it was worth every penny, the best steak meal I’ve ever had.We returned twice for lunch during the week, sitting outside and enjoying the fabulous views. It didn’t ever disappoint - a wonderful place to visit and we can’t wait to return.

Had a wonderful meal here Saturday evening.I had lobster and and it was amazing , just wish I could have it every day .Two of our guests had burger and chips , and commented that the chips were best he has had.Scallops were really juicy with black pudding , I normally don't like black pudding , but absolutely loved The Bays black pudding .Desserts were devine .Service was superb , all staff very attentive and very friendly. All with beautiful views of Cawsand beach. So lucky to live near Cawsand , our guests from Plymouth , said they will return and tell friends.5 stars

Walking the coastal path....in the cornish drizzle of persistent rain I made it to the usually vibrant village of Cawsand. However, post lockdown this was a quiet sad place bereft of visitors, noise and joy. Thankfully, The Bay was open and luckily a seat outside under an overhanging roof was my prize. All of a sudden people came from all directions and the place was transformed. Nice food coming out to the few tables under cover and even hardy walkers were sat drinking their coffee...in the rain. They really could do with a marquee to protect their customers. And, some brighter and happier waiters/waitresses. Ah well, May 17th next week. The next stage back to some type of normal!! Cawsand, like most places needs it......Nice views though!!
