The Bay Restaurant and Grill in Cornwall

Loved it here. Great modern bar and restaurant right on the sea front. Location is fantastic, service is friendly and professional but not fast so if you are in a rush make sure they know. Great Cornish beers on tap. Food is brilliant and the fish specials change each day. Would recommend and reservations are essential as it gets very busy.

What a great meal! Friendly service from the staff, dog welcome, each course was a delight. Packed but efficient, with food arriving quickly. Chicken was excellent with large puddings. Will definitely visit again

Beautiful position on the bay with lovely sea views. Roast was incredible. Relaxed service.

Had lunch here today and I will never come back. To start with we where served the smallest fish portion I have ever had when ordering fish and chips (see picture) then we had to wait for the cutlery to be brought to the table after we had our plates already. The batter was soggy, the haddock was tasteless. The only good thing was the tartar sauce, seemed home made. There is a window to the kitchen where you can see the people prepare the food and to my dismay the lady putting the plates together has been licking her own fingers when touching the food, several times. She washed her hands 2 or 3 times in the 45 minutes we spent there and in between she would put bits of food in her mouth and lick her fingers. Not hygienic and quite shocking, actually.Won't be coming here again.

Absolutely fab waiter, we visited on a sunny Monday he was polite, attentive and efficient. The food was delicious and great that it is dog friendly inside and out.

Breathtakingly good. We've never had such brilliant roast lunch. Great quality. Extremely generous portions. Very friendly service. Spectacular views of the bay. Our 3 children all had a lovely time too and enjoyed their kid's menu choice.Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to get a table outside without a reservation. Amazing views and absolutely fantastic food at great prices. The staff were always available to help and the customer service was on point. Food is served from 5pm and the restrraunt is often fully booked but will accept walk in if they are able. Free parking available round the corner. Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other dishes.

Pretty much the only place to sit and enjoy the view of Cawsands, so it was a huge plus that the food was lovely too! I had the Mussels, which were very flavourful! We will definitely come back when we’re in the area as there’s lots of yummy sounding food on the menu to try next time.
