The Beach Restaurant in Cornwall

What a fabulous find! Delicious food, great, friendly service, thanks ladies! Highly recommended, the Hake was amazing!

Where do I start? The chowder and crab as catch of the day was excellent, big enough to be shared between four people. There was a great view and service. Strongly recommend!

This was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Food was delicious and portion sizes were excellent. We had the mushrooms on toast to start and sea bass (catch of the day). Emma was a delight, and service was top notch. Definitely eat here again.

From the moment we arrived today Wednesday 17th Nov 2021, we received AMAZING service from our lovely friendly blonde waitress - nothing was too much trouble. Menu choices all clearly explained and help with portion sizes. The food and drink was delicious. Fish chowder and crab Mac n cheese. We hadn’t booked but were lucky enough to get a table with a view over the bay. Highly highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you again to our lovely lady waitress - you made our day xxx

The restaurant was busy, but covid safe regarding spacing etc. You have to wait to be seated, but we waited less than 5 minutes and got a window seat overlooking the harbour.The food was fantastic - Stunning presentation & tasted delicious... I had Cod & Chips, my partner had Chowder.Staff very efficient & friendly.Definitely recommend this restaurant and will eat there again.

An excellent,dog friendly restaurant.Fantastic service.Food outstanding.I had freshly caught mackerel fillets pan fried in garlic butter with salad and chips.Definitely will be back next time in St Ives

I'm always reluctant to post negative reviews, especially when businesses have had such a hard time due to covid. However, these were the worst takeaway fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was overcooked and dry and the chips were dry also. When you are charging a premium price for such small portions you expect to receive good quality food. Can't recall having such poor quality at the coast before.

We dined at The Beach Restaurant twice last week during our holiday in Cornwall. It was the best restaurant we visited! The quality and portions of the food was brilliant, they cater not only for adults looking for a more grown up menu but also for children in order for families to enjoy the restaurant together. Our two children can be quite fussy eaters but ate and enjoyed all of their meals there!The restaurant itself is beautifully presented, clean and bright. The staff are friendly and very pleasant. The setting just on the front of the bay of St Ives is just stunning! The view you have whilst enjoying a meal there is just wonderful.I can personally recommend the seabass. Best seabass I've ever had! The light crispy coating was just delicious! Our children loved the same coating on their chicken strips and keep saying how delicious it was!I can 100% recommend a visit to this wonderful restaurant. Just make sure you book a table in order to avoid disappointment as it is quite popular.

Good food, very nicely served, pleasant staff, if you get a table by window, you can see the beach from there, overall very enjoyable, very small half of lobster for £20...

We were very lucky that there was a table free because someone didn't showed up 😁Very fresh oyster that need just a little squeeze of lemon, chowder that is very tasty and filling.And we just love the scallop starter which I think they are a must have for this place.Extra point: a nice view to the harbour 😎
