Stopped at this lovely little pub for my son and daughter to play a game of pool. Drinks very fairly priced, the girl that served us was very friendly and polite. Great atmosphere and cosy with the log fire burning away! I would definitely stop again if I was in that area 5stars

Great food served here!! Friendly helpful staff and a brilliant place to meet friends. Lovely atmosphere, and the log burner kept us all warm! Will definitely be returning soon.

Popped in for lunch. We got there just as the chef was finishing his lunch time shift and was about to go home but he stayed and fulfilled our order (4 of us) the food was excellent and the staff were brilliant. We really appreciated the way they accommodated us and would definitely recommend this great pub. The beer was great as well.

Very good, great food, friendly staff and efficient service. The Cornish Cider was pretty good too. We were staying at the near by Premier Inn, this is a much better option to the Cookhouse and Pub next door to the hotel.

Great unpretentious pub with very friendly welcoming staff and good food and ales, very comfortable, clean and tidy facilities too. Exactly what you'd like to find in a lovely country pub. Will definitely visit again whenever possible.

We were staying at whiteacres and found this great pub by accident after there was nowhere to watch the football. Owners and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Have been to similar the places and were made not to feel welcome due to not being from the area. However not here, the whole team could not do enough for us. Football on, Great food, good choice of alcohol and all for a fair price. Oh and thanks for the free glass kindly donated by the owner. See u again
