Great fish and chips, and pasties right on the coast! Friendly owners!

Lovely, freshly cooked fish, chips tasty, good sized portions. Busy but slick service meant only a short wait.

No idea what all these bad reviews are about 🤷 Amazing cod and chips which we enjoyed on the beach, staff were super friendly and very welcoming. We treated ourselves to a lovely cone ice cream afterwards and was greeted with a very generous portion size. Will definitely head back when we're next in the area 🐟

Some of the best fish and chips I have had in a long time, the batter was light and crispy, the chips just perfect for me, not too crispy and not too underdone. Can't beat the view on a sunny day either

Gone to the dogs. The owners are away so the children are minding the shop. Dragging their heels and not serving folk on purpose to build up a queue into the street and fake the idea that they are so popular. Desperate measures and unscrupulous! 200g of salt dumped into one box of chips making them revolting and inedible. Seagulls wouldn’t touch them. Meanwhile… 10 mins drive away is the excellent JEREMY’S FISH & CHIPS in St. Just which are generous, efficient, delicious and well priced. Blue Lagoon ‘was’ great but if mum and dad aren’t there… avoid at all costs!!

The haddock and chips were excellent. However, either the price is to high or the amount if food provided is too small. £9 is a lot for what you get.

This. is. the. the. best. fish&chips I had.And on top of that it was gluten free.Fried in a separate compartment, make sure to call them 30min before coming.Crispy, tasty and massive portion!Delicious. 11/10

Probably one of the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had, dry chips and a tiny, thin fish. The batter was overly thick and not tasty. The outside benches and tables were also dirty. Cannot recommend. Try the Bo cafe just a few houses away as an alternative lunch option.

On cold but clear late February day, we took shelter from the wind in The Blue Lagoon Fish Bar. We were glad we did. A friendly greeting from the staff was a warm welcome and sadly often forgotten. With a mixture of fish, chips, sausage and my obligatory pasty in our order, everything (except the pasty) was cooked to order, so did take a while but was worth it... It wasn't too long as to test the patience of a hungry 3 year old, so we were fine with the wait. The views out of the window were great to drift away and pass the time. Big, freshly cooked portions landed on our table and we tucked in. Plates were emptied and tummies filled... To the brim. Amazing! Would recommend if you're in the area.
