Quirky deco. Friendly flexible staff. If you like seafood absolutely try here. Delicious. They were quite happy for us to order 1 sharer, 2 starters and a salad and for them to come in easiest order for them. So we got the sharer first, but the warm starters half way through. And getting them all mixed with contrasting flavours just added to a lovely meal.I also liked that the walls are decorated with local artists work for sale.

Boatshes id fantastic for seafood dishes. Prices was fair. Friendly waitress.

We came to Penzance for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary.We had booked to eat & drink at The Boatshed for our special occasion (25th Nov) and we couldn't have found anywhere better the food is & was amazing... So a big Thank You to the Chef. The Boatshed staff were lovely & very friendly. And it made our night extra special with the service received.

Booked here for our last meal before leaving for home. The menu siuted both of us (hubby is not a fish lover) but he has fishcakes and I had sea, bass fillets. The starters were large so if you do not have a big appetite share one. The main courses were excellent and the boatshed banana for desert, let's just say don't drink the rum if you are driving. Staff very friendly and we could have sat at the table all evening We would definitely recommend going here but book first as busy.

We came here for the Cornish cream teas (scones) and weren’t disappointed. For £5.50 we got 2 with a teapot and they were lovely. The hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Tasted great. I can’t comment on the actual food but lovely seaside location.

My best meal in Cornwall! Really loved this meal, food was top quality! Toblerone cheesecake for desert! Make sure you book your table!!

absolutely fabulous meals we had and the staff where really helpful and efficient

Portions were generous and delicious. Service was great, even though the 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 kids, arrived 30 minutes before the kitchen was closing between lunch and dinner.Mussels in garlic, king prawns in chilli sauce and calamari with lemon and tartare were lovely and we enjoyed the whole meal. Highly recommended!

Given this 5 stars as the service yesterday evening was great and the food was amazing! I had the soup for starter and the fish cakes for mains. The portion was more than expected. The atmosphere was great, we sat downstairs. Nothing negative to say at all about this place! Would defiantly return.

Huge portions and worth every penny. Vegetarian options available which was nice to see as not many places around offer a variety for vegetarians. The homemade cheesecake was gorgeous and highly recommended!!Staff were polite and lovely. Tables were clean, decorations were cute.
