The Britannia Inn in Cornwall

We had a very pleasant evening meal here, and the customer service was excellent. As a result we've booked a table for Friday. Nice, clean establishment with great staff.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Britannia Inn and our stay was excellent! Lovely clean spacious room, amazing breakfast and ample free parking. The food in the restaurant was so delicious that we ate there each night. The portions were enormous, all freshly cooked to perfection with local produce. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting places to visit. All in all a great stay. We would highly recommend staying and will definitely book again in the future.

I contacted the restaurant as we were celebrating birthdays on holiday. I asked them if they could cater for 25 people. They didn't hesitate to accommodate. Despite the large group the food was seved all together and to a very high standard. The service was great would definitely visit again. The only minor grumble was that the eat and mess was chocolate based rather than the expected strawberries and meringue which was a slight disappointment but in the scheme of things very minor. The family left very impressed and full!

Great public house,Doorman was it tad over the Top. I rang the Pub the day before to make sure they would be showing the Champions league final, they said yes. Super Ill be there. When getting to the pub The doorman Refused us entry due to Not booking a table.I explained that I rang to check it was OK we didn't need to book, But he was having none of it. So I asked to see the owner, He Refused.Lucky A Member of the bar staff came out, I explained the situation and he said he'd sort it. 5 minutes later were in waiting for a beer. Apart from the incident with the Gorilla on the door had a Great night, Even if we Did loose.

An instant good feeling.Very clean and tidy and helpful staff.The food was excellent.Large garden area.Another visit is definitely on the cards.

My wife and I stayed for two nights. The room was very comfortable. We had dinner the first night and breakfast the next two mornings and all the meals were very tasty and generous portions. The staff are very welcoming.

I didn’t stay at the Britannia inn but I stopped in for a drink on my way back to liskeard from Falmouth. I asked a very lovely young lady if there were any quiet places to sit in the bar areas as was getting chilly outside and was extremely busy inside as think there may have been a wedding or event going on. The young lady went out of her way to find me a space in a quieter bar area and even got me a stool to sit on. I was very impressed at the customer service. I will hopefully be returning to the Britannia inn next week and hopefully see the young lady again…..

Very good, large beer garden and inside several large dinning areas. They catered for over 200 football fans ( pre booked )and public were still able to eat and drink without much hindering

I've eaten at the Waves Restaurant quite a few times, the most recent visit being yesterday evening. Our food was exceptional so thought I'd leave a review. I recommend the prawn cocktail and grilled goats cheese starters (so good), the pork belly main and cheese cake desert for a winner. They have GF bread on request and a number of vegetarian and vegan options. I found their pizza and lasagne mains a bit too cheese heavy and I'd be happy to see more dishes like the pork. Overall it's a nice menu and their service is great. They might even have a new chef as last night seemed even better. They have outdoor seating and an outdoor kids play area.
