So I admit the pics aren't the best but believe me this was one of the best things I have ever eaten I had the fish trio on the left n my girlfriend had sea food Marina They managed to squeeze us in even though they were full booked, the waitress and waiter were so attentive always there just at the right time and giving you proper good service. Bottle of water as soon as you sit down and the best recommendations. Reasonable price to and is like one of those hidden gems! The place had a very Spanish vibe but I'm all for that. 10/10 can't wait to go back! Did I mention the dessert was to die for

The food is here is just wonderful and the service out of this world. I thought one dish wasn't up to par and they changed it immediately and gave us a discount and free puddings. The second option was as divine as our starters. And can I tell you, lavender bread is my new favourite! They bake it on site and it exquisitely tasty! Thank you for a lovely evening!

The restaurant staff are excellent. The atmosphere is good. We ordered Risotto. However, it was uncooked. The staff is friendly to have it cooked again, and she said they did the Risotto again. Unfortunately, their Risotto is very SALTY. If you taste the meal you prepared, it can’t be consumed by a human for such a salty and oily. This is the worst Risotto I have ever tasted in my life. I could have done better through Youtube. I guess wrong choice of food. Overall, the food is not good. The staff are so lovely and friendly.

Ate here with 3 friends a week ago. It’s the restaurant that Cornwall has craved. No gimmicks just the best produce being cooked expertly well and being all about flavour. Fish is all fresh that day, went for the trio which at the time was gurnard, haddock and lemon sole. All the best I’ve tasted. Scallops to start were superb washed down with a very decent and sensibly priced white. Honestly give the celeb places a wide berth and head here, I definitely will again.

I've taken the time to write this review because I believe it's worth my time and effort.Firstly we were a walk in of 8. I was poliletly greeted at the door by a gentleman who was very welcoming. He managed to arrange a table of 8 for us.The space is fairly small but also ample room not to feel cramped which is good.Let's get to the meat (or fish) of it.The food was perfect! I had the special which was a king prawn taglitelle whith shallots, chilli and white wine & a side order of garlic bread. Wow simply; Wow! We all enjoyed our meals. My brother who had a burger almost had s cow inside a bun it was that big. Others had fillet steak which was cooked beautifully and also the seafood mariene which was a combination of a few things. We were a stag do and we had intended to go to pizza express over the road from our hotel.I'm glad they turned us away. We gave tips because we were so well looked after.Don't be shy. Try this place and as ex-chef myself I cant recommend this place enough.Yet again thanks again for the lovely meal!!

If you wish to go, I'd recommend you book in advance as they get booked up and gave limited times and seating. They had a very welcoming front of house. Great food and attentive staff. Would certainly recommend.

An excellent meal, great local seafood and steak with Cornish beers and a good selection of wine. There were lots of lovely homemade desserts also. The staff were friendly and attentive.

We absolutely loved our meal, the food was so tasty and fresh. Highly recommend the Butchers Bistro we even took our 1 year old the children's menu was spit on.

Firstly, the lavender bread is something special and not like anything I've had elsewhere. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, The menu is limited, but if you have never been or just been a couple of times it isn't too much an issue. As with the food menu the drinks menu is also a little limited (unless you like wine). If it wasn't for the limited menus then this would deserve 5 stars in my mind.

I'd award six stars if I could. We've been to Newquay every year for the last 15 years with a family group, the Butcher's Bistro is the best meal / night out we've ever had. The open kitchen view is great to watch the fresh food being cooked. The staff are exceptionally attentive, it's a fantastic dining experience. I will go back next year and every time I'm in Newquay. Brilliant place, keep it up! I recommend to everyone, an absolute diamond, do not miss out.
