I had go out for a drink and dinner with my boyfriend and the experience was lovely. Great and friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Great food. Wonderful place for a date and for a family dinner.The staff where very welcoming and friendly. Not to overbearing and was up to make a joke (which I alway appreciate). Helped with my requests on my meal as I’m a bit of a picky eater and all around nice to be around.The food is proper pup food and definitely worth it. I had the classic nachos and my bf had the steak on stones. Absolutely love the nachos and he couldn’t give more praise for the steak.Overall I loved the experience and will definitely be coming back and would recommend for anyone being a family or a date

Had the best night in Newquay here! Great atmosphere, great food, and lovely staff especially Millie who really looked after us. Will definitely be back again!

Greeted at the door, shown to our table & asked if we were eating, which we were. Ordered drinks and waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Ordered more drinks and noticed on the menu free wine or desert with any main,( Monday) bonus so we thought. Had our main “complements to the chef” and decided that we wanted 2 glasses of wine and 2 deserts, go to the bar to order upon a very blunt “no” you’ll have to pay as you didn’t order when we ordered our main meal.This was not mentioned by the bar staff either when asked if we were dining or when we ordered our food, nor is it mentioned on the menu where it gives you this offer. It’s a shame as we spend around a month throughout the year in Newquay and spend a small fortune on food and drink. Shame really as the food was really nice, although the last 2 pints we had were flat.

We're just in for nibbles and had the starter offer (3 for £13); it was well worth it! Staff are cheerful and friendly.

Always have a great time in the pub - day or night. During a recent daytime visit the staff were great at supporting me to get something to eat with my 2 young children. There was plenty to choose from and it was lovely being in a spacious and relaxing environment. Will definitely visit again.

Great service, great food would definitely visit again

A visit here for a special occasion exceeded all our expectations! The atmosphere was warm & friendly. It was very busy yet the service was fantastic....attentive & patient. Even though there was 14 of us, the food came out with a steady flow. It was hot, fresh & delicious! The staff are all a credit to the manager, Benn who clearly instills a great customer service ethic. We will be back!

My family and I ate there yesterday. The staff are excellent, Dade and (sorry I didn't get her name) the female server were great and very accommodating.The food was good quality and generous portions, a request would be mac and cheese as an option, not just the bites.The price was reasonable.

Not welcoming, everything empty inside and they made us sit outside and started raining snd they did not care, they lied about the reason. The waitress did not care about me understanding the options to drink. I would never come back to this place ever in my life.
