This is a little treasure - very good value & delicious fresh food cooked really well. Did gluten free & dog friendly! Great find!!

It is such a lovely place and also kids friendly. They make us feel very welcome and well look after. We had a lovely fish and chips, nice big portions of nice fresh fish, very tasty peas and curry sauce. The tables are facing the sea view my family and I loved it. The place is very clean and tidy. Thank you for making our holidays even better with a friendly atmosphere.(visited on 27/4/22 with three laud kids).

Lovely venue overlooking the sea, we had fishcake, chips and gravy watching the surfers. A great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Absolutely lovely. Fantastic fish & chips and the friendliest of staff. The medium fish & chips is the perfect sized portion. No complaints! Definitely will be returning :) The woman who served us even gave us free chips and gravy just to try. Have to say the gravy is delicious!

The most delicious Gluten free fish and chips. We ate in and the service was excellent. All staff are very helpful, extremely friendly and the views are stunning. We’re here on holiday and will definitely return. Highly recommended

After a few bad experiences elsewhere in Newquay with takeaways, I was not really holding out much hope! However, ordered over the phone, arrived, food piping hot, exactly as ordered, when we got back to the cottage, absolutely fantastic! Fish was awesome and kebabs tasted gorgeous, excellent food, great service and super value!

Hello our 1st time in the Restaurant overlooking the Beach and Sea view and the sun was shining. We had cod chips n peas and Tea .We've previously had 2 takeaway meals...x

This English chippy restaurant is conveniently located next to all the local amenities. I went for a meal here on Thursday afternoon. I walked in and got a sea view table without pre-booking.The restaurant was clean, tidy, and spacious. The tables were laid out nicely leaving reasonable space between each other. The toilet was clean and smelt fresh.The menu offered a good range of dishes and they were reasonable prices for the area. The special fish and chips is worth sampling because the fish is fresh plus it is a decent size portions.The overall service from start to finish was excellent. Waiters were available when I wanted a coffee after my meal. I had an overall pleasant dining experience here. For this reason, I highly recommend going to the The Cod End chippy restaurant. You will not be disappointed!Opinions expressed are solely my own.

Proper old style seaside town chippy. Don't expect fancy! Saying that, the waitress was nice, cleaned swiftly our table. Food was ok, cod bites and chips for children come plentiful - children actually said fish bites were great and better than from our local 😳 in Southend!I found batter of mine slightly too greasy for my taste. My youngest had a Savaloy in a bun and enjoyed it - Place is small and can be crowded so it becomes noisy and unpleasant. Good views onto surfing beach.
