We didn't book for a stay, we passed though on the way to St.Austell, good variety food and local beers, with beer garden, one of the oldest pubs in Cornwall, would make a good stay and visit, not far from the Eden Project and coastal locations.

Lovely old pub, great food, very nice publican & staff. Good accommodation...dog friendly. If your still worried about covid, this is great as they have accommodation adjoining the pub but separate, great place to relax peacefully, glad we went.

We ate here last Sunday, whilst the service was fantastic the food was an absolute let down, the Sunday roast was disgusting! The scallops where very questionable.

If you are looking for a country pub experience then The Crown Inn is the place to go. Stone floors, beams and roaring fires. Excellent menu for both evening meal and breakfast. My husband loved his breakfast kippers. Accommodation was in an annexe over looking the garden. It was a small room but had everything we needed.

We chanced upon The Crown Inn by chance having followed local signs pointing in its direction. It proved to be our good fortune, there was enough room for us to enjoy good freshly cooked inexpensive food. Would we recommend a visit to the Crown? Yes we would if you happened to be in the area.

Found this pub by accident and it's a gem. Lunch was brilliant for all 4 of us. Desert was also great. We all agreed that we would have returned here but our holiday ends in 2 days

We were visiting Fowey on a Sunday afternoon and for some reason all the pubs/restaurants in the harbour stopped serving food until the evening.. a quick google search and a phone call to staff revealed this little gem a short drive away.. so if you like us were contemplating hanging around just like all the others in Fowey do yourself a favour and visit here on your way home instead..It may be quiet when you enter (I think we were the only ones in to start with) but don’t let that put you off. There were 6 of us from Grandparents to grandkids and the extensive menu covered all tastes even my awkward ‘vegan/veggie’ needs. Most chose the Sunday roast I had the vegan curry and rice with a side of the best fries I’ve ever tasted!! Everyone said the meat was good quality and everything was piping hot. Veggies were brought out in bowls to share and again there was plenty and nice and hot. Puddings we’re quality too and everything including drinks came to a very reasonable price. The staff were very polite and could not do enough for us. We would definitely recommend visiting this pub and would go again if we were in the area. First class.

You get a very warm welcome. The staff are very friendly and always have time to talk with you. We have been going there for 4 years now while we are on holiday. The food is great and have never had to complain. We will come again next year. My husband and I recommend the Sunday roasts as they are good portions and the meat is nice and tender.

This pub had a brilliant Sunday dinner menu and the friendly staff were very good at efficiently serving even though the pub was busy. This Sunday lunch was as good as it gets.On other days the chalkboard menu was very good, ordered a steak,Again hats off for a brilliant meal. And to cap it all the Guinness was superb.Would definitely recommend this pub 10/10
