The Crown Inn in Cornwall

I was only there for drinks, but what a lovely wee place! Beautiful old pub with a garden. Tim, the owner was totally fantastic! Very welcoming and bent over backwards to help us out. I'll definitely stay there next time I'm down at neck of the woods.

Lovely pub, super little rooms, great service. The evening meals were great, I the breakfast was a bit disappointing. However, friendly staff and only ten minutes from the Eden project which was ideal as we were going to a gig. Would go back again

Such a beautiful setting for this charming pub. Friendly staff and a small but good quality menu. Will definitely be visiting again.

We had a fantastic night at the Eden Sessions topped off with a beautiful night's stay at The Crown Inn. Joss and her team made us feel so welcome - wonderful service, a fabulous evening meal and a lovely hearty breakfast in the morning. Our room was incredibly comfortable and we can't wait to go back next time! ❤️

We visited for dinner.The food was superb. I had a beef burger with bacon and Stilton. The chips were amazing. My daughter had the fish and chips, crispy light batter and the amazing chips. My husband had the scallops.All beautifully presented, by friendly and accommodating staff.The puddings were varied and delicious again.Fantastic value and would highly recommend.Rustic pub with beams inside with outside seating.

Had a nice twin room. The evening meal went down well with some good real ale.The breakfast was a huge Cornish fry up, just right to set you up for the day. We did not eat again until tea time.Lovely beer garden for those sunny days.

Had a meal in the pub. Ambiance and food was good. Service a bit slow. Staff were very nice. Some of the seating areas needed some cleaning (chair backs were tacky). Overall a good pub.

We visited at the end of April and arrived on the day the new owners were 'officially' opening. They were still in a bit of chaos when we arrived but they certainly made us feel very welcome and everything went to plan for the opening. The owners and their staff were very accommodating and so friendly. Food was excellent, all freshly cooked and lot's of it. Our room was very cosy and clean. I know they are still making changes to the premises and that's the only reason why I haven't given it five stars. We will definitely visit again.

Dinner was nice. Warm friendly atmosphere in the pub. Staff were polite an helpful. Bed was comfy. The included breakfast was very good. Definitely good value for money in my opinion and nice quiet location.

Lovely old pub, great food, very nice publican & staff. Good accommodation...dog friendly.If your still worried about covid, this is great as they have accommodation adjoining the pub but separate, great place to relax peacefully, glad we went.
