Such a lovely place for lunch in St Ives. The three of us enjoyed absolutely everything we ordered -- mussels, pollock, padron peppers, roasted potatoes. Lovely service and a great atmosphere. Already looking forward to going back!

The service and quality of food at this restaurant were second to none. We were welcomed most warmly and seated at the bar, from where we were able to see at all times what was being cooked. The duty manager was really friendly and attended to us regularly, making sure that everything was too our satisfaction, as he did with the other guests, who filled the establishment. Even the chefs were extremely pleasant. All aspects of this bistro are worth full marks in my view (price, atmosphere, service, etc) and I would have no hesitation in returning during a future visit to St. Ives.

WOW! What can I say! We had the Sunday lunch set menu and it was absolutely amazing. The snacks were so tasty especially loving the Charcuterie and pickles. The Dry aged Sirloin was melt in the mouth with the best Yorkshire Pudding and veg to match. Just about left room for the Sticky Toffee Pudding. All the staff were professional and really friendly. I can’t recommend enough and will look forward to booking again on our next visit.

Well I'm just a posh feral however I do like a good feed. The name of the restaurant suggested locally sourced food and drink. This is truly reflected in the menu. I was a bit worried when I showed up for my booking of one and was the only one in the restaurant. However several other dinners appeared in quick succession to make me feel better. These people were truly posh. The waitress helped me decipher the menu and corrected my pronunciation of focaccia. The cheese on toasted bread was lovely. The focaccia was to be dipped in olive oil which was laced with cough inducing chillies. I managed to suppress my cough and wipe away my tears. The waitress was great at managing the posh lady in charge of the family group. The other group were discussing an impending birth plan. The romantic couple in the middle were too preoccupied with themselves. I was glad when group by group the males succumbed to the chilli olive oil except the romantic couple, a true match. The line caught sea bass was so fresh it just fell apart. The parsnips with feta was a great match. The red Italian primitivo was excellent. Finally I completed my self stuffing with sticky toffee pudding & a 23 year old brandy from Kent. The restaurant is well presented and just a stone through away from the ocean. The service was excellent and honest. Take your credit card and enjoy.

I couldn't be happier after our visit to Source Kitchen. The food was DELICIOUS, the service was great and the restaurant was very cozy. I was highly surprised by the quality of the food. The mussels were perfect, small but flavourful, as it has to be. The risotto blew my mind, very intense flavour and the rice cooked perfectly. The cheese with onion and chillies compote... Oh my god! Highly recommended!

We booked this place months in advance of our trip down to St.Ives and it did not disappoint. The quality of the food was exceptional, the mussels with Nduja were particularly good and tasted so fresh. The other stand out dish was the sea-bass with clams and samphire, it was full of flavour. It is not your standard starter and main set up, but we found the larger dishes arrived fairly close together and everything was piping hot. The roasted peaches with crumble and ice cream was the perfect way to finish the meal. We didn’t have wine, so the food bill was fairly reasonable and the service was seamless. All in all a refreshing and unique dining experience in the hustle and bustle of St.Ives.

Fabulous pan-fried sardine fillets on heritage tomatoes, with crushed potatoes, and a chilled glass of wine. What a heavenly lunch!

Source Kitchen is a tranquil food heaven taking you on a journey of sophisticated flavours of well known Cornish staples. The dressed crab was fresh and zesty and the seabass was complex and a pleasure to eat. The tomatoes are amongst the best I've tasted. As you can tell, this place quickly won over me and my taste buds. I booked two additional meals here during my short stay in Cornwall and each time the restaurant outperformed the previous meal.

Outstanding quality food, presentation, and service. The mackerel was divine, the cream sauce on the mussels was sublime and the tomato soup was perfection (enhanced only by the Cornish chili salt purchased from the shelves inside.) It was a joy to watch the chef prepare the food with such care and precision. Even the coffee was exceptional. Would definitely return when in St. Ives again!
