The Dwelling House in Cornwall

We have enjoyed very much our visit. Attentive service, good atmosphere, food was finely prepared and served slowly, with care. Prices were also moderate for a very popular touristic spot. Totally recommend.

We found this quirky little place for lunch. We had focaccia toastie with courgette, sun dried tomato and mozzarella, and a fresh crab sandwich on granary bread. Good wholesome food,washed down with a beer and pot of tea. All very enjoyable. Reasonably priced.One comment would be that the toilet facilities could do with a bit of a makeover,quite an odd setup.

What a find! Holidaying in Fowey for a few days, out of season; we passed this quaint restaurant, offering a different and a delicious sounding menu. We were lucky enough to be able to book a table. We were not disappointed, the dishes tasted as delicious as they sounded. The staff were very attentive and polite. The service was excellent! Would definitely recommend this place! Keep up the good work!

The food was gorgeous from start to finish. Everyone was really friendly and it was such a cozy and cute place. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Four of us ate dinner here yesterday evening. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. A varied menu with excellent wine. The small dining room has an intimate atmosphere which was ideal for for conversation, unlike so many noisy venues. We will certainly return.

We felt lucky to find this gem of a restaurant. Food was so tasty inc delicious homemade hummus & amazing curry. The service was exceptionally good - thinking ahead to everything we might want.Lovely atmosphere and decor. Highly recommend. Thank you the Dwelling House!

We had dinner here this evening and it was just perfect! Two friends and I are in Fowey to celebrate being 65 and I booked a table at The Dwelling House as the reviews were so good, we just had to visit. Not disappointed at all! Adam served the most delicious cocktails, the table service was excellent and Teresa’s food was divine! A must if you are in Fowey. This teamhave pulled together in what has been a challenging and difficult time and diversified… and boy, has it paid off! Just wonderful… thank you Dwelling House for a memorable evening.. Probably one of the best breakfasts we had in a long time! Perfectly poached eggs on yummy buttery toast. Delicious coffee too! We visited on sunny day and sat outside, in the beautiful courtyard.Yet to try the sweet menu but I am sure it is as great as savoury selection.
