My wife and I called in just for lunch whilst exploring the Rame Peninsula. A real gem of a find and possibly one of the best fish and chip lunches we have had in Cornwall (and we've had a few). The pub itself oozes character with a stone floor and wood panelled walls lining cosy rooms. A great bar with a fantastic selection of ales and best of all it has polite, very friendly, competent staff who are a credit to the business. Excellent location, excellent pub, excellent food, excellent staff so 5-stars all the way. Well done.

When we arrived the place wasn't heaving but there were several groups enjoying a relaxed drink / dinner, the vibe was nice. We rock up with 2 screaming kids (it was already past bedtime). Not wanting to kill the vibe I asked if there was anywhere out of the way where we could go. No problem whatsoever, we were given a whole café area which the kids thought was awesome. The food was great, the service was excellent and very appropriate for our group, they even had a couple of dogs knocking about (not where we were eating). Family fed and happy, no one bothered by irritable kids, well done Edgecombe Arms! Also, I've had a carvery there before and it seriously enhanced my life.

Went in to here after walking the dog as they are dog friendly. Only to get a drink but the carvery smelt lovely and they had a table available. Pint of Rattler and 1 carvery, £19.95... ouch..... but have to say, it was just lovely. Lots more vegetables on offer than I had on my plate. Throughly enjoyed it and would happily pay that again. Was fairly busy and people were still coming in when I left around 3.40pm.

Nice staff and great fish and chips. The cosy Cornish cottage you seek, a mere ferry crossing away from the Royal William Yard.

Booked lunch for 4. The food choice, although limited, was excellent, worthy of any top class restaurant. Staff were friendly & attentive. 1st class.

Great lunch. Lunch for 4 on a Sunday. Recommend the prawn and crayfish salad or deep fried halloumi sticks for starters. Excellent main, roast beef, fish and chips, chicken burger. Edgcumbe Bitter was exquisite. Highly recommended.

Edgcumbe arms is always a go to place for me for a family meal or carvery. Its in a gorgeous location, and has a very warm cosy feel to it inside. The staff are polight. When their carverys are on its easily my favourite meal out. Their normal menu and in house burgers are delicious too.

Overall this pub is not a bad place to stop off at. However they are unaware of their own position in the market.Your service and quality of food does not deem your prices worthy. Reduce your prices and don't waste your time trying to look 'up-market' . You're simply not.I understand that the recent pandemic has made it extremely difficult for many businesses to financially operate. But I also think that the owner should be taking the hit, not the customers.

Lovely location. Menu looked good. Would have stayed for lunch but was 50 pence short for car park and I couldn't get any cash back. However, I understand the need for rules in what is probably a busy tourist place.
