The Fish Bar in Cornwall

Bottom line: great food, great service!I was really surprised with how few ‘less formal’ (subtext: not £60 per head) fish restaurants there are in Newquay so finding this was a godsend!All the fish dishes I had were beautiful and you win the coveted compliment of ‘best meatball I’ve ever had’ (the albondigas) from my fish-fearing fiancé!The waitress was fantastic and very attentive - and I really like their ordering system which means you don’t have to do the awkward wave to get someone’s attention.

Managed to get a table at very short notice and so glad we did. The food was amazing and the owner even bought a plate of whitebait for our dog. Top service, lovely people and super food. Thank-you for looking after us. Definitely visit again the next time we are in Cornwall

Early evening Fish tapasWe were walking round Newquay looking for somewhere to eat, as normal.When we came across this amazing tapas restaurant specialising in Seafood.We didn't know what to expect here, but oh gawd did we strike gold.They serve some incredible tapas dishes using fresh fish which they bring in from their own family boats.🐟We were in heaven, of all places Newquay.🤣We chose three dishes from the Specials menu and the rest off their main menu.Everything was delicious, we could of stayed all night.They have a button on the tables which you press when you want to order anything.The server then comes and takes your order.Our table was quite literally buzzing all night🤣The servers were all young and very friendly and helpful.If you ever find yourself in Newquay,then you must check this place out.Make sure you book as it's very popular.Even the locals find it difficult to get in.Review helpful like follow thanks.

Wow, an unbelievable dining experience, the food here is amazing, the staff are great, plus the desserts are out of this food! We had seven different tapas but didn't take enough pics, as soon as the food came we tucked in 😅

Loved this place. Was seated in the bar area with the high tables and was offered a few tapas dishes but this was enough for me. The dishes were delicious and the staff were very accommodating. The wine is also really good. Would definitely come again.

Been wanting to eat here for some time after good recommendations and it doesn't disappoint. Tapas style fish dishes cooked really fresh. We tried nearly all the fish dishes and liked them all. The beauty is you can go back or forward or just keep eating the same thing which I think we did all of that too... Thoroughly enjoyed thoroughly recommend.

Really warm welcome and all staff were friendly and attentive. The light system is genius and makes everything run every smoothly. Food is delicious and the fresh daily specials are great. Really enjoyed the crab nachos in particular. Great to find somewhere locally where we can come for great tapas. We will be back!

We sat in the bar because this place books up QUICK and for good reason. We were able to get a table in the lounge for Tapas and it was amazing. The ambience was great, food was beyond expectations and the servers were helpful and great to chat with.
