Fantastic fresh fish. Loved the enormous scallops and perfect whiting. Served with a smile and humour. Remember to take cash though or you'll have to go and get some from the convenience store.

Haddock in beer batter is incredible - fish cooked perfectly and the batter so crisp until the last bite!

Perched right on the harbour this little van serves the most delicious, fresh fish. So good we went back for more the same afternoon! Excellent customer service, highly recommend

we had *amazing* mackerel and scallops, and sat in the really cute harbour.it's very charming and definitely worth a visit.Don't miss the ice cream either, it's wonderful.The people are lovely too

The grilled scallops were absolutely amazing! You need to try the ice-cream as well (home-made), I haven’t tasted one so good in years! Lovely folk too!

Very popular chippy truck on the harbour. They offer various fish on the menu but the best option is Scallops and chips, something I have never encountered elsewhere since living in the UK for 15 years! And gosh it was good! Thick scallops with roe too! An absolute treat.

The van is situated near the dock and has a professional feel about it. There was a wide selection of fish that you don't get anywhere else which is cooked fresh. The scallops and chips and swordfish and chips were very tasty and cooked to perfection. The chips weren't chip shop chips but they wouldn't have been a good match for either of the meals we had.

This evening my family had fish and chips (Haddock). £9 each and the service was good - you order and then have a ticket which you wait to be called. All meals were cooked to order.I am surprised at such positive reviews as the food was not great. The fish was the best part - it was tasty enough but nothing special. The chips, however, were awful - they were your typical frozen chips deep fried. Hard and little flavour - my daughter said “we have these chips at school” which I think tells you what to expect with the chips. I was expecting traditional “fish and chip shop” chips which would have left me feeling satisfied. Unfortunately the chips really let the meal down.I wouldn’t buy from them again.

You won't find fresher cooked fish than here - on one of my visits to The Fish Grill they had run out of mackerel so dashed over to a fishing boat in the port, filleted as many fish as they could then grilled and cooked them for us. Amazing value, incredible quality.

October 5th was their last day in 2017, they will be back in May 2018. I was so lucky that I was in town that day!!!! Best F&C! I had a trio (2 scallops + 2 haddock fillets + 2 mackerel fillets) with salad for £7.5. The staff are nice and always with big smile!
