We were in the area for a few hours and wanted something quick to eat for lunch. After walking in, we were pleasantly surprised as the pub looked really nice. We were seated and told that it's table service. After about 15-20 minutes, I just went to order at the bar as nobody came to serve us. All of the staff were standing around chatting away. Food was average, although you get what you pay for, prices are appropriate for the quality. My husband ended up going to the bar to pay as again, there was no table service.

Easy to miss and probably a bit underated. If you're looking for traditional pub food at very reasonable prices and a great outside seating area overlooking the harbour this is the place. There's no smashed avocado on the menu, but that can be a good thing. Service was very quick. Nice coffee as well.

Sat outside as we had the dogs with us, ordered food and drinks via the QR Code on the table. Food was really nice, and a good size portion. Service was really quick and one of the service staff even brought the dogs a biscuit. Can't ask for better service than that.

We have stopped in here a couple of times as apparently the beer is kept better than some of the other pubs in town (as a gin drinker it doesnt make much difference to me). The pub is reasonable staff seem pleasant so thats fine. The outdoor seating overlooks the river which is lovely on a sumny day however it is also the smoking area which when sat a few feet away from someone who didnt stop for an hour can really ruin it. We decided to try the food and this is where our thoughtd changed. We had the house burger their special apparently. Hand made (it was full of grissle and flavourless). The coleslaw was soo oily it almost swam in it. The onion rings so greasy i felt sick. The salad minimal and all stuffed inside a stodgy sickly sweet bun. Even the chips were really heavy. At £15 each we were disgusted. Mcdonalds would have been better. A real shame. We will try elsewhere now

Very nice food, good selection of drinks, friendly staff, good location right by the waters edge. Reasonable prices.

Came for drinks and food. Ordered the cottage pie on the specials menu. Wow! Huge portion and brimming to the top with filling, lovely cheesy mash topping, so much I couldn't finish it all! WELL worth the money!
