Very friendly staff, the portions were smaller, but perfectly reasonable considering the quality of the food. Will definitely visit again. (in fact we visited twice!)The menu has something for everyone, including an excellent gluten free selection as well as lots of unusual, but very welcome sides (try the brie bites!)Well worth it and certainly more affordable than some of the more "tourist oriented" fish bars near the town centre.

Excellent authentic seaside fish and chips with friendly restaurant service.

Really great fish and chips. I had haddock. So fresh and the batter is light as a feather - like tempura. Specials board mentioned seafood platter which we will try next time. Good choice of local bottled beer, also wine and prosseco on offer ! Also of course soft drinks and tea and coffee. Fantastic value.The owner is wonderful; chatty, friendly and welcoming. While we were they an elderly couple from New York were there with a local friend. They had requested gift vouchers for the chip shop to be sent to their friend for Christmas. That's how much they loved it last time they visited!
