"The Globe Inn is a 13th century, warm and friendly freehouse, popular with locals and visitors alike due to its reputation for excellent food, variety of real ales and the quality of its Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Delicious, freshly prepared blackboard specials complement the extensive menu and are served in the restaurant, bar area and secluded patio garden, each of which has its own special atmosphere."

A true tradiitional pub with the right mix of a local and eating out. Food excellently prepared and cooked. Always dailey specials making the most of fresh fish and other lical produce. Some more choice of real ales would make this pun full marks

Food was okay, but my lasagne (£13 by the way 😒) was microwaved (luke warm in the middle and scorching hot around the outside)Charging that much for microwaved food Is unacceptable and dishonest. On a positive note though. The garlic bread was good.Friendly staff.Nice atmosphere.

Lovely pub, cosy atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. It's just a shame that the food menu is very limited and in my opinion, overpriced.

Great experience and food! We had a wonderful experience with the waitress being very friendly and attentive. The chef knows certainly what he is doing and served the best meals we’ve had so far on our short trip to Cornwall. All in all definitely worth a visit and the money you pay for it.

Wow. Of all the pubs we’ve been to on our visit to the Southwest of England, this one surprised us the most with a creative chef and wonderful service. The chef turned, what was actually intended as a starter, into a main course and I was very, very happy with it.Some other creative items on the menu already indicated that there was somebody passionate about great food and we were not disappointed.I do scallops a lot at home in the US but his scallops on butternut squash mash were sensational. It is not easy to find and does not look overly inviting at all plus the first whiff of the pub may make you hesitate at first, but do not be turned away by this and step into a great pub with a great chef.
