The Haven Takeaway in Cornwall

Lovely little shop. Was served by a young blonde girl in glasses who couldn't have been more helpful. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced, would definitely visit again.

Asked for crab sandwiches to take out, would only do them if we were going to eat them within 15 mins. Made me question why, because normally I buy crab and eat it hours later and it's perfect. So either not so fresh or just didnt want to do them for me, which is impression I got. Needless to say, left without buying anything.

Got there around 4 pm and wanted a cream tea. We were told that they stopped seving food at 3 pm. Settled for 3 teas with little milk and a black coffee. The coffee was passable but quite weak. The tea looked like they had used one tea bag all day and very milky. Staff looked quite disgruntled when we complained. Reluctantly gave us another tea bag. Even more disgruntled when we asked for 2 more. Will be a long time before I go there again.

This is my favourite cafe, particularly in the Spring, Autumn and Winter. The food is excellent. The owners and their staff are very friendly and are genuinely welcoming to humans and dogs. Best coffee for miles!

It would be worth coming to Crackington Haven just to eat here. We had a goats cheese ciabatta and salad, and everything far surpassed our expectations, it was really top quality with a salad that was a work of art in its own right, full of so many different tasty, fresh and quality ingredients that all worked so well together. The coffee as well was fantastic. It was set up well for Covid safety and the staff were lovely. Thanks!

Very welcoming, lovely staff, fantastic latte, good value, great views, well worth coming here for a drink and cake and taking a walk up the cliff side (very easy) to see the views, you won't regret it as theres another view to the left once you get to the top.

My husband and I did a circular walk from the harbour so had built up quite an appetite.We both choose a warm bap with local beef, and a coffee. Absolutely delicious . Coffee good too.Enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay longer to enjoy another coffee and cake. The bread pudding was a good helping, moist and delicious.Will definitely return next time we are in the area.Infact it is very possible that if a detour is necessary ......it will not be a problem..

We use this cafe regularly as it is the best! Gorgeous food and coffee! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, and always recognise us. My brother and sister in law love it too, and always get their pasties from here to take back to Kent, as they are so tasty. We are lucky enough to live near Crackington, so can go to this cafe when we want to. Keep up the good work, you are doing a fantastic service 👍😊
