The House on the Props in Cornwall

This was a very nice experience to stay for 5 days.Nice and relaxing, Food extremely good and a nice selection of drinks.Plenty to do and places to visit.Most definitely stay again.

We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was scrumptious!Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly! The chef was able to do dishes dairy free.The service was fantastic and very reasonably priced.The deserts were also awesome.All round an excellent experience and 100% would recommend.

We went for dinner on our Honeymoon and it was amazing! Fantastic service, friendly staff and most importantly the most delicious fish. My husband has an allergy to onion and garlic and they catered for him with no problem so thank you so much!

We had the BEST roast dinner here yesterday, fabulous food, service and wine! Would definitely recommend to everyone! Thank you!

What a wonderful place! It’s right by the Harbour and very close to shops.The owner is super nice and works very hard to keep her customer happy.I see her after closing time till late at night doing mise en place!The food there is absolutely great, I had the Fish & Chips and it was the best one I had, the fish was cooked to perfection and super moist and the batter was very crunchy, the Tartar sauce is homemade!I also had the Scones and they were unbelievable, they’re served warm with Clotted Cream and Jam.My room included Breakfast so I had the fu English breakfast with Juice and Granary Toast which was very good!My room was very good size considering it is an old building, it’s very quiet and with a beautiful bathroom, everything was spotless, im not the type who’s gonna stick my finger looking for dust!Overall I really enjoy my time there, I feel sad to leave but I would definitely come back!

A lovely little restaurant in the heart of a traditional fishing village. An extensive menu, mainly fish orientated which you'd expect, is reasonably priced. A sign of good food and service, the restaurant is used as a cafe by locals. Dogs are allowed.

Had a Cornish tea there and booked for an evening meal had Sea Bass as it was fish of the day,Cod was the other my partner had Cod and Chips and i have to say it was absolutely gorgeous if fact my partner said her Fish and chips was the best she'd had 😋 prices were reasonable too for food which came off the boat on the same day you can't get much fresher than that i would highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back when we are in Polperro again as at the moment it only opens for 3 evenings Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.A lovely traditional restaurant which gets mine and my partners vote and we actually heard other people saying how nice there food was too, always a plus point 10 out of 10 from us Thanks M Munro. We called in for lunch on a wet and windy day, we were made very welcome as was about golden retriever Ellie.Dog friendly, good food, very nice people . What more could we ask for?We would definitely recommend a visit. Seafood chowder delicious.

Fell in love with this lovely unique little place. Had a little wait for a table at lunch time but once we were in the service was very efficient. Crab sandwiches and scones were the order of the day and it was a great choice. I've never had such a well portioned sandwich (one and a half sandwiches!) The scone was still warm. The only negative was the suggestion that the jam should go on the scone before the cream #creamfirst

Absolutley superb, fantastic, best place I've stayed all year, and not being able travel abroad due to COVID, I've travelled all over UK in 2021, so no exaggeration.Very comfortable room, best breakfast I have had for years, again I've stayed in 5 Star in Bath to no Stars.This place is superb.Also main meals, fresh fish from catch of the day right next to the Harbour Fish Market which is of course on the Atlantic Ocean.You can't get closer without getting wet.Thank you so much, suoerb ❤️
