Beautiful food and fantastic service by the whole team. We really enjoyed our time at The Balnoon, the Sunday lunch was substantial, excellent quality and we’d recommend anyone to visit if in the area. Thanks all for a lovely time!!

My husband and me had sunday lunch yesterday, fabulous food , table carvery a lovely novel idea. The problems were we were sat by an open front door so food went cold very quickly and the beef was very fatty and tough, fine for hubby but put me off. I managed to fill up on the lovely vegetable selection.Wonderful atmosphere ( good music).Staff were young but very friendly.Should of had the chicken which would of been a whole chicken to ourselves,We were too full for a pudding but they looked lovely. We will return as we live just down the road.

My wife and I came here 3 times over the last week, love it! Food is delicious, were veggie and the menu for us was great with lots of options. great beer on both draft and keg, as well as wine list and cocktails. What sets this place apart is the service, every member of staff there were so lovely, so accommodating and wanting to do the best they could to make us feel welcome. Well done guys we ll be back next year !

This pub is not far from St Ives. It was the answer to the problem of arriving a couple of hours too early to book into our accommodation. I had a couple of cups of coffee and a pint of Doom Bar as well as some cider for my partner. It was comfortable inside quietly watching the Saturday afternoon Sky footie offering. The barstaff were excellent and very helpful. We didn't eat but saw some of the food delivered to others, including a rather splendid cake complete with fireworks, and looked very tasty.

I'd have liked to give a higher rating but there was one major problem - noise. The Inn really needs to make up its mind as to what it wants to be, either a restaurant or a pub. The building echoes and unfortunately the night we visited there was a very rowdy group of people standing at the bar. We were there for a meal with a friend, and we could barely hear each other across the table. The staff were kind enough to move us but it wasn't the really good night out we were hoping for. On the plus side, the food was really good and the portions large.

Stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and had good facilities. Quiet at night and a comfortable bed. There is so much greenery around, it is very peaceful.Place is popular for food and as an absolute bonus, they get fresh seafood from Newlyn everyday! So if you don’t want to travel to Newlyn, you can try the freshest seafood here.I thought staff were super welcoming to me and my dog. They were super attentive and even took the time to check that I passed my exam and then celebrated with me.100% would stay here again.

We stopped at The Balnoon Inn yesterday early evening hoping to get a rable indoors away from the football. Not only could they find us a small hidden table but service was fast food was delicious. I can only presume it was the owner who served us she was lovely I would highly recommend the restaurant. Thank you for making us so welcome xx
