We visited twice. Both times it was really busy but the service was surprisingly quick, so thumbs up! The first time we had just standard pub food, bread selection with olives, hallumi cheese and 2 burgers. The second time we enjoyed a really good roast pork. Staff was very helpful.PS we love Rattler's cider!

The best pub I’ve ever been to. Great history behind the building and remains unchanged for 400 years. Great service and the food was top notch. Very good selection of local and international brands. The pub has 3 choices of seatings. In the bar area, in the family room which has a log fire place or in the beer garden which has a great view. I don’t think you would ever find a place like this, it’s a real hidden gem. It can get quite busy for dinner in the peak season so call and book a table to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic local pub. Busy on a rainy Tuesday evening in February, with a lovely atmosphere.Amazing choice of great quality food on an extensive menu and specials board.Portions were very generous and food delicious.Real fire added to a perfect visit.Worth booking a table if you want to eat.Throughly recommend

Really lovely traditional beamed pub with open fire. The staff were really friendly and offered to move us nearer to the fire when a table became available. We had the fish pie from the normal menu and roast pheasant with red cabbage from the specials board and both were delicious. For dessert we had chocolate brownie and the fruit crumble and we wished we could eat them both again! Definitely recommend.

Great pub, very friendly staff welcomed us to eat (as not booked a table), Food was just the job after a rather long wall along the coastal paths of Cornwall. Would call again if in the area. Thanks to ll the staff for a lovely pub lunch!!

Great choices especially special menu and Sunday roast. Tasty and very well presented food. A lot of local drinks as well. Best pub at the Land's end area. You shouldn't miss it.

Proper village pub serving local beers. We just went for a drink after a day of enjoying the beach and walking the SW coastal path - and even though it was a bit rainy it was still nice to sit outside (they have lots of good table umbrellas). They were completely booked up for food so if you want to get food there then I'd book in advance!

Nice large pub with a decent amount of parking. expensive prices but good food.Cons:No instructions on how to order food and little staff.Greeting staff non existent and signs to order food at table so small, you can order food from the app from the table you sit at.Drinks were good and decently priced at roughly £5 a pint.

Best pub in England! Comfy and snug after a day on the beach with an array of good beers on tap. Food is always consistently hearty and filling
