"The Navy Inn, just off Penzance Promenade is a pub & restaurant with fine food at its heart. The Navy is an old pub with bare floorboards and a traditional bar, whilst also having relaxed yet stylish dining areas. With an informal and very friendly atmosphere where you can go in for just a beer, sit around with cups of coffee and read the papers, snack on single course or have a full 3 course meal. The menu offers a delicious mix, with lots of local seasonal produce while at a price that represents really good value for money and less than a lot of other pub restaurants now charge. All the dishes are presented beautifully but the taste of each dish we hope will make you return again & again."

Perfectly cooked melt in the mouth mussels - such a range of choices on mussel dishes. I went for the cider sauce, which was flavoursome, and rich from the bacon but not overpowering for the mussels' flavour. The steak sandwich was gorgeous too! We didn't book and got a lunchtime table on Saturday in February. Excellent service and welcoming atmosphere with fresh decor. Didn't sample the beers but there was a good range of local and popular draft ales. We will go here again - no doubt about it.

Lovely dog friendly pub, had a lovely roast beef and the mussels were amazing. Service was absolutely fantastic to the point where they brought out offcuts for our dogs! Highly recommended if you are in the area with or without a dog.

Gastro pub. Great food. Well cooked and seasoned steak, generous portions of mussels. Tasty puds. Lovely atmosphere. Full house but didn't feel crowded or overstuffed. Dog friendly. Attentive staff. Perfect end to the day with friends.

Had been to the Navy Inn numerous times several years ago and always had a good meal. Now reopened thought we would visit again.Clean and welcoming. Good choice of meals to select from and a specials board. We had 3 courses and soft drinks. Each meal was very good and reasonably priced. Fully booked on the night we went, limited staff but still got our meals without waiting too long.We will be going back to try their Sunday lunch.Recommend you book as they were turning away numerous people while we were there.

I'm ten years old. Last night I went to the Navy Inn for supper and loved it. The food was delicious! They have many good food options for all ages. I had my first mussels (and the best mussels) and when you dip the fresh bread roll into the broth...I don't even know how to describe it. I asked for seconds and the kind waiter brought me more. The staff was incredibly nice. Last but not least, the dessert. There were many options and we chose two things: the brownie and the lemon posset (see photos). The brownie was warm and came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and dark chocolate sauce. It was one of the best brownies I've ever had. (Trust me I've had a LOT of brownies 😁) The lemon posset was sour and sweet. It came with speculoos crumbled on top. It is recommended to book a table and it is not hard at all. We have already booked our next dinner here! Highly recommend! ♥️♥️♥️

What a hidden gem! Dimitry and his team deliver exception cuisine with a first class service that came so natural. The seafood chowder was so full of delicate flavours I’m lost for words! It’s a must for anyone visiting Penzance.

Very pleasant and the staff are really friendly. However, it was very warm and water doesn’t come with ice. Nice music to eat dinner to :) Not much parking.

Excellent!! Food, service, portion size, value for money and all round experience, all brilliant! If it was a restaurant in a city and it was double the cost, it would still be excellent!
