The Olive Tree in Cornwall

Had a takeaway from here today. All was very tasty and cooking instructions were spot on! Lovely people there as well, they deserve to succeed.

We had a selection of meals from the takeaway service and each one was delicious and good value. The only disappointment was the fish stew which although very flavoursome was rather lacking in fish!

Despite the covid pandemic, The Olive Tree team have thought outside the box and kept going. Really impressed by the can-do attitude and willingness to maintain high standards of catering despite the challenges. Definitely recommended. Thank you!

Managed to get a cancellation at The Olive Tree whilst on holiday as I had read some great reviews. It didn't disappoint and the meal was amazing. We love fish and are big foodies, so we will be going back.

Stopped here on the drive to NYC and the woman was so nice and accommodating to our diets (vegan). The pita was well seasoned and delicious and the falafel was not at all dry! We will 100% be back in the future, well worth the 20 minute detour!

Absolutely brilliant. It's a MUST visit.The staff were amazing from booking to confirming table on day to welcome and through to service.In husbands words "the service was impeccable".They were friendly helpful and knowledgeable, they know their oats (or should that be fish and grapes?)Would definitely say book a table here WHEN you book accommodation so to not be disappointed.The food was first class, hubby said "was better than that Michelin restaurants we've been to.Hopefully we'll get in again on our next visit to Cornwall it's a must.

Love this place!10 of us celebrated my birthday here in August and we had the best time.Flo and her colleagues couldn't have done more to make our night perfect.The food is delicious, really reasonably priced and the wine list is very good.Everything is locally sourced and the restaurant is very attractive.Looking forward to returning next time we stay in St Merryn.

Fantastic food served by such friendly people. Made to really feel like we were guests of theirs for the evening, rather than just another customer. Well priced for the very high quality of food produced. We would return at every opportunity we come back to the area
