We stayed here while walking the southwest coastal path. Perfect location right next to the path and on the harbour side. A traditional pub with rooms and good tasty food. The landlord and staff where very friendly and helpful. They made us sandwiches for the next day walk as many cafes on the route are still closed for the winter

We stayed in Coverack and booked a table here for Sunday dinner. The carvery was delicious, a hearty tasty filling dinner. We all loved it. The view out of the restaurant is over the sea, which is amazing. All of the staff were super helpful and friendly if we return to this part of the world we will definitely return to this lovely pub!

Been coming here for many years and it's consistently good. Food, beers and service are always good. A bit off the beaten track but worth the effort...

Lovely. Very helpful people. Arrived very late in the evening due to long journey. We were met with smiles and helpful staff. Excellent service.

A very friendly local Cornish pub, serving great drinks and a nice selection of pub food (the specials are always worth noting too!). Really dog friendly and the staff are so kind and welcoming.

Very poor eating and drinking experience. Had the cheeseboard as an alternative for lunch and it was pretty poor. The hot chocolate was lukewarm in a small coffee cup. My eating companions were equally dissatisfied with the offerings. Plenty of cafes nearby that cannot be worse. Very sticky tables. Avoid.

Superb place, great food and beer with a lovely outside space with lovely views across the sea. Staff were ver friendly and efficient, we'll definitely go back here.

Third visit, Good value tasty food. Booked table for anniversary, arrived slightly early had a drink and ordered, which took 45mins for a special and fish and chips to arrive!!! Had to ask waitress who advised that there was a large "takeaway" order!!! Oops, silly me, thought a table booking that had already ordered would have been fulfilled before a takeaway. Lovely setting but sadly it's lost its shine for us, as decor, fixture's and fittings were very grubby and all looks in need of an end of season deep clean!!!

We are staying in Coverack for our honeymoon and thought we would try here for our first evening meal.We booked ahead but when we got there it wasn't booked. They managed to fit us in but not before the manager said "sit them anywhere, I don't really care, I'll close the doors if I have to" and walked off. This was after having spent a couple of minutes stood next to us waiting to be served just talking to a regular customer. The waitresses were extremely helpful though and did their best. The starters were lovely and my steak was ok but my husband had a burger which was awful, he couldn't eat it. So greasy and quite obviously processed, definitely not the home cooked food advertised. We were going to go back but we won't be bothering now

Went here 10 years ago and nothing appears to have changed. Great position on the headland with an outdoor garden. They do food but personally I just like to stare out to sea with a drink and while away the time after wandering around the scenic town of Coverack. The pub has a car park and any overspill could be catered for by a large town parking area. Don't expect 5 star but it was more than adequate for me.
