Had a coffee hear. All the food being served looked really good. Booked a table for the following evening but had to cancel as wasn't feeling well. You can't book directly, You have to book on line only. They will have your details, even post code ? All said and done it looks like a good place to snack and lunch/ Dinner. Great coffee nice staff. would I go back. Yes definitely. I feel I missed a great meal as the menu looked great.

Very friendly staff, amazing food. We got the Cornish trio and whole Seabass. Book ahead at the weekend, lots of people turned away as fully booked. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Great service

Loved the restaurant when I visited a few days back. Technically it should be 4+ but don’t have the option to show it. Below is the break up of the rating:Service - 5/5… great staff, friendly and helpfulAmbience - 5/5… awesome vibesPrice - 4/5… a wee bit on the steep sideTaste - 3/5… this is where it gets technical, we ordered a few items - they all tasted good; one of them was coconut gravy based seafood… it tasted good - but as a native coconut-based food consumer, I noticed that the gravy was thickened artificially.in conclusion, an awesome place to visit and enjoy with the family.

We ate at The Boatshed and enjoyed our main course. I had the sea bass which was really well cooked, great flavour and no bones at all which was great. My boyfriend had lemon sole which was the exact same, totally delicious. Unfortunately our starters were not that good and the chicken goujons tasted like Fridge Raiders chicken from the supermarket which was disappointing and my calamari rings were very basic and quite under seasoned. The wait for our food and drinks was poor as well, we were warned it might take a while however waiting half an hour to get our drinks is a little too long. However it was busy being the half term so we didn’t complain. Overall it was a good meal and the fish was very well cooked but it was certainly over priced for what we got.

We arrived at 7pm and were seated outside due to the restaurant being full. The staff were lovelyand accommodated us inside when a table became free. After taking our order, the night out went downhill rapidly. One of our drinks was forgotten and after asking several times, we eventually got the drink (which they immediately comped for free). The starters came out(nachos) but the food was very disappointing forsuch a simple dish. It was nachos with microwaved cheese on top!!! Not at allappetising. After then waiting an hour after thestarters were cleared away, we asked a staff member how long our mains would be. Sherudely shouted at us that YES should wouldcheck. We waited another 10 mins for her toreappear from the kitchen with an answer. Shenever appeared so we told another waitress wewere leaving, paid the bill and left hungry. The staff were apologetic saying they were short staffed on the public holiday. We were comped the entree. I hope the service and food is normally better as it has great potential. We went to the Chinese restaurant down the road for a delicious meal.

The best 3 course meal I've ever had. Pilchards to start and I've never had any starter like it before and the main I had brill and it was brill. The staff was brilliant. There's nothing I can say bad about my experience. It was so good we are going back this Sunday

Quirky deco. Friendly flexible staff. If you like seafood absolutely try here. Delicious. They were quite happy for us to order 1 sharer, 2 starters and a salad and for them to come in easiest order for them. So we got the sharer first, but the warm starters half way through. And getting them all mixed with contrasting flavours just added to a lovely meal.I also liked that the walls are decorated with local artists work for sale.
