The best food and service we have ever had. The pie and seafood chowder were delicious. The staff were the friendliest and couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommended. After 40 minute walk the fitted us in without a booking even though the pub was very busy.

Really impressed, apparently now under new owners. Food was excellent and service was extremely friendly, highly recommended.

Well it is such a shame that a lovely pub which used to provide amazing food , let us down so badly on our return .Staff were all lovely and many of them have remained but the food is shocking for the prices they charge .They pride themselves on cooked from scratch surly that didn't include the lumpy slimy gravy made out of a mix but not whisked enough to hide the fact .Sirlion steak ordered med- well came back 1/2 hr later (when the rest of the table had eaten ) cremated tasted of charcoal and at £26.99 expected much much better .I could go on , but will stop here and let you make your own minds upYes they did take off the bottle of wine , but would have preferred to have enjoyed out meal and paid for itI wish you luck as your going to need it

Had a lovely 3 courses at The Plough, Duloe. It’s so nice to have our local back and serving such amazing locally sourced food. Couldn’t recommend it more and can’t wait to spend many more evenings here 👍

We were really pleased to return to The Plough Duloe and meet their new staff. We previously found the experience at the pub a bit hit-and-miss. But we found only positives as a result of the change of hands! From starters to drinks to mains, everything was fresh and brilliant quality - all served hot and neatly presented. We could rave about the food - but the real jewel of The Plough was the service - Melanie and her staff were attentive, friendly and a real credit to the establishment. Could not recommend it more - just a shame we are only in town for the week. When we visit next, we’ll be back for sure!

Really great food and a cute small town pub. Would definitely recommend dinner here if you're in the area. All locally sourced ingredients and it shows.

Visited for a last minute evening meal. They managed to squeeze us in as we had not made a booking. Food came quickly though we felt it was lacking in quality for what it was charged. The food was pleasant but I have had better for less. Staff were friendly although we were asked by 3 different people if we were ready to order. Unsure whether this was due to staff miscommunication or due to the fact they were busy and needed our table to be vacated fairly quickly.

Very welcoming owner and staff. Food was excellent. We ate three times in this lovely place over the course of 6 days when staying nearby. Highly recommended. Burger and fish were excellent. Good work all round.

Visited this pub while staying on Looe as It was dog friendly and we had our Cockapoo with us. Easy to get to and find from Looe, All the members of the staff were absolutely fantastic, warm, friendly, welcoming, even when our puppy was making a mess of the floor 🤦 The food was amazing, the Bread we had for starter is probably the best we've ever had anywhere, the mains were all superb aswell, great big table also with plenty of room for 4of us. W couldn't find fault with The Plough on our visit. If your in the area, definitely go for food.
