The Preston Gate Inn in Cornwall

Great atmosphere, warm and friendly welcome. Delicious Sunday Dinner with choice of meat and plate size. Went back on Tues for steak night and excellent live music. Steak was mouthwatering hubby loved it, unfortunately the prawn curry I ordered wasn’t as I expected however I would still recommend a visit.A good mix of locals and visitors.

Amazing Sunday roast , meat was great lovly veg gravy to die for ,,staff were amazing and friendly , nice out side eating space , not much parking and no bottled or canned coke or Pepsi , that didn’t alter what a tremendous place this is

I booked Sunday lunch for 9 people for my sons 21st birthday. The staff kindly helped me with my request for a quiet area of the pub as my Dad is hard of hearing and let me drop off the birthday cake a couple of days before. The roast dinner was absolutely delicious and I had the vegan roast which was very tasty. I could also eat all the veg that came with the meal as it was all vegan too which was very welcome.I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and a big thank you to all the staff. I highly recommend a meal here and we will definitely return when back in the area.

We called in for a Sunday roast. Incredible. I had the mixed roast option and had roast pork and roast beef. The pork was tender and the beef was succulent. Yorkshire puddings were gorgeous and the roast potatoes superb. The vegetables too were beautiful additions. Will definitely be returning (book to avoid disappointment as it can get busy)

A perfect find...just on the outskirts of Bude. Very welcoming and super friendly staff. Reasonable price for food and drinks. We had the Fish and chips ( 2 adults and an 18 month old) which I can honestly say was absolutely delicious and one of the best I've ever tasted.. would highly recommend a visit just for the fish and chips itself. Entertainment available on some evening's, children and dogs welcome.

Nice country pub that serves cracking food.Between us we had a pasta dish, steaks and a chicken burger.No complaints at all, food was great, staff were really nice and friendly, real local feel.Would definitely return.

Fabulous food, generous portions, pudding was amazing. Just Really really nice. Great staff, lovely atmosphere. Great pint of ale. 5*I would have taken a piccy of the fabulously presented food... but we ate it all:-) yummy.Child and dog friendly, off road parking.

Loved this pub, the food was gorgeous the staff were friendly and helpful, plus the beer was great.

Booked a table and it happened to be Steak Night Tuesday plus live music...happy dayz 🤪. Nice couple of 10oz Rib Eye steaks (£17 each), fab Chips and mushrooms with tomato...no complaints from us steak was soft and we both enjoyed our meals. Waitress was pleasant and attentive and it was an enjoyable evening.

This place was recommended by Willow Valley Holiday Park & what a great recommendation, the friendly staff are welcoming and helpful. The food is excellent I had the fish & chips & my partner had the fish burger, all fresh & piping hot. Make sure you book a table as it's advisable. I can highly recommend the Preston Gate Inn 😋
