Booked a table for lunch (Saturday). Helpful staff. Lovely food. Tried the chowder (special), monk fish scampi, chicken schnitzel and children's sausage and chips. Chips 🤤 All excellent - recommend the garlic mayo with the chicken schnitzel!Tried seasonal cheesecake (lemon) - really excellent, the queens sundae and the triple chocolate brownie - deliciousHoping to go again before we go home to Wrexham and the Wirral.Thank you Tracy and Molly - a pleasant few hours

Wife had the Crab Linguini and had food poisoning. Was up with sickness all night. Steak and chips was very basic for £22. Just peas and a few cold mushrooms on the side. On a plus, the waitress was friendly. Wasnt the best experience, sorry.

A very friendly pub with good food and reasonable prices. Very relaxing place, I know this isn't really a place you would see passing by as it's a little off the main road, however it is worth it.

Beautifully cooked pork belly but the veg could have been more flavoursome. Excellent under cover outside area and nice cosy layout inside.

Popped in for a quick lunch on a weekday. A lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Lunch was an excellent sandwich with a good salad garnish. We will definitely go again.
