The Restaurant in Cornwall

Just brilliant from start to finish. Service was attentive but not intrusive, the food was beautifully presented and delicious. We felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

This restaurant was amazing from start to finish. I booked for Valentines day and had contact throughout about preferences and tastes. My wife was pregnant at the time and they took this into account for us.Then on arrival the restaurant was cosy and bright. There was a good atmosphere and we were welcomed inside. The food however speaks for itself. I think my eyes lit up with every bite and the flavours were all perfect and went together so well! I had the Venison which was exquisite. Its a shame I live 300 miles away from this restaurant or I would return as often as possible!!

Totally amazing dining experience. Stunning food artistically presented. Lovely ambience with attentive yet unobtrusive service. Would highly recommend for a super special evening.

Food is simply stunning. Treated like royalty. The price for the food is unbelievable. You would probably pay three times more for the food if the restaurant was in London or another major city. Why can't there be more places like the dining room? Simples - pure greed11 out of 10. Get yourself down there. Now

What a lovely restaurant! From the moment I saw it from the car park it had a lovely warm glow and buzz. The service was very attentive but discreet, the food was extremely well executed and delicious and I'd definitely go back! Enjoyed the nice touches... The milk bread, the clotted cream butter, the beetroot and horseradish cream macaroon.... What a treat!!

We had an amazing meal here on the last night of our holiday. The restaurant is modern, comfortable and informal. The menu was seasonal dishes full of flavour, textures and beautifully presented. The staff were lovely, very friendly. Everything we'd want in a restaurant, it's just a shame we live 300 miles away but will definitely call again if we're lucky enough to be in the area.

A lovely welcome greets you as you enter what can only be described as classy, impeccably styled fine dining establishment. Service was first class and the food just as good. If you are in the area and want a quality/special meal then look no further.

Wonderful understated restaurant with sublime food & service. Amazing value, couldn't fault any of it. The canapés & amuse bouche were a thoughtful & delicious extra.

What a restaurant. From the warm and friendly welcome to the quality of the food and service there was nothing to fault. At all. Due to Covid restrictions we had to 'register' our visit, sanitise our hands and wear masks walking around the restaurant. All dealt with beautifully by the staff.The restaurant is relatively small and had fewer tables than normal, again due to covid and social distancing. The room was very comfortable - quite plain but in a relaxing, pleasing way. Very comfortable chairs.Service was first class - attentive without being on top of you all the time. The food was excellent. I won't go into it in detail as the menu will have, no doubt, changed by the time you read this but everything served to us was perfect.Not cheap, cheap but stunning value-for-money. If you are in this part of the world try to fit in a visit to the Dining Room in Rock. Wonderful.
