The Riverside Restaurant in Cornwall

The Riverside is a lovely restaurant. Not very big so would recommend booking at busy times. Food was really good, best we had all week, and the service was excellent. Nice outlook over the river too.

Good quality carvery with selection of meats. Price was affordable and staff very attentive. See if you can get a table by the window. Picture below is fron the bridge which joins the restaurant with outside seating.

Excellent place to stay. Ross and his team are very friendly and helpful. The food is superb, hot and well presented

Lovely spot with really nice views of the river and the ducks! Very "cosy". Nice food and very friendly staff. Visited before and will be back for sure!

Came here for a meal on our second night in Boscastle. Good menu with a specials board too. I had salmon with risotto. It was a nice dish would have preferred the rice to be cooked for longer. Only downside is they stop serving food around 8pm which is quite early.

Had the carvery this Sunday - it was gorgeous.Choice of 4 meats and 5 or 6 choice of veg.Lovely friendly staff too.Will definitely be back

Food was simple but yummy & the people were lovely. The outdoor garden seating is a gorgeous place to sit, if the weather permits and the ordering kiosk outside is a great idea. Lovely view from the bridge too.Nice spot for lunch.Also good vegetarian options.

We had a fabulous one night stay while walking the SWCP. Our room was by the river. Comfy bed and shower/ensuite. Our meal was delicious. Breakfast was as we ordered, with quite a good selection. Packed lunches are available too.Highly recommend.

Went here for the Sunday carvery. It was delicious and so are the desserts. Lovely staff and a comfortable dining room. Will return when next in Cornwall.

Visited here for the first time tonight and WOW food and service were amazing we were turned away from an empty Wellington Hotel being told they were fully booked and oh my we were so glad they did. What a little gem this place is. Chicken skewer with Greek salad to start and then salmon risotto absolutely no room for pudding. Thank you The Riverside ....
