The Rock Inn in Cornwall

Had lunch very nice. Short staffed, but didn't have to wait long. Well worth a visit.

Brilliant place, good food and great staff. Visited 3 times while staying at the point golf resort 👍 highly recommend

Avoid if you don’t like discrimination because you don’t wear a face nappy. Businesses like this will never get my custom, and I hope others agree. My money (over £100) went to the more welcoming bar next door {The TapRoom}. Money talks. The Rock inn & their pathetic ‘for your protection’ policy will put people off.{edit in response to their reply. Our interaction with staff was not rude, just brisk and we walked away, so I’m being confused with another obviously annoyed customer, and if you keep closing because of covid, then your mask policy clearly doesn’t work, does it!}

We stopped here for a coffee and hot chocolate. Our order was taken quickly, however, we then waited 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The coffee was luke warm and my chocolate had obviously been stood for a while and melted all down the outside of the cup which looked very messy. Unfortunately we didn't have time to complain as we had a table booked elsewhere for lunch. Whilst the views are lovely the service certainly was not.

Fabulous meal at The Rock Inn. Lovely atmosphere and the little blonde waitress was so lovely and happy to help. Cant wait to return.

Delicious food and a cracking view good staff. I wrote the original in 2019. Exactly the same in 2021.very covid concious right down to the paper dispenser for hand drying instead of the usual bug fan. We had steak ... no photos as just a clean plate remains.

Had a lovely meal here just after it had re-opened after the Coronavirus lockdown. The wife had a vegetarian Thai curry, which she said was really good. I had the Chicken pie - a puff pastry top with a good amount of large chunks of chicken in a great sauce - I think it was chicken and leek. The vegetables that were served with it were really well cooked and fresh. The chips were really good too. The other guys had scampi and chicken burgers - all of which looked really nice. I had a pint of Cornish pale ale which was very refreshing. Staff wore masks and screens had been fitted between tables, so they had obviously done some good prep work to make the place safer. All mains were about £14-£16 unless you were going for steak, etc. Highly recommend the place.
