The Safe Harbour Inn in Cornwall

Friendly staff, good breakfast and a good view, slightly let down by details. Squeaky metal sign blowing in the wind next to my ear would benefit from some grease, I'd ditch the fridge and the pseudo posh coffee and tea for traditional faire. Shower was tiny and cold too unfortunately.

Brilliant evening at the pub quiz on Wednesday. Food and drinks were excellent as usual. Our first time at quiz, even though we have visited Fowey for last 20+ years. Really good atmosphere, excellent quiz format and lovely presentation from the landlord and his team, way better than watching TV in the house. Looking forward to our next visit.

Really lovely bar staff and locals, suoer caring

Absolutely disgusting customer experience. They had tables for local fowey residents only with notices on and a very obnoxious customer sat at the end of the bar telling you that you wernt welcome to sit there and the bar staff agreed and said I was rude and not the man at the end of the bar! Altho I live in Cornwall.! We had visitors visiting here and was extremely embarrassed by their arrogant attitude. Won't be visiting there again and wasn't made to feel welcome even before we ordered a drink. Also you'll see that you have another review that says exactly the same thing about their visit too. If holidaymakers visit they will make their own mind up.My friends were disgusted with your service and attitude as well as being embarrassed by what I said to you but that is exactly how we the customer are treated at your pub as we don't live in the area! Other visitors will see for themselves. Thank you for your reply.

Actually a very nice hotel , cute rooms with wonderful view, …BUT… strangely we were not welcome in their pub. Area only for locals ! Excuse me ???? I would love to talk to locals and I am interested to know new people. Very strange behavior and it was very embarrassing.

Ate here on 2 occasions last week, it was a large group of 12 both nights food was amazing as where the staff...See you next year thank you 😀👍🍻

Had the king prawn tagliatelle food and service was amazing, bought straight to my table within 20mins and the waitress kissed me on the lips! Will be recommending to all my friends and family

Good pub with rooms just outside town centre in Fowey (5 minutes up the hill) The rooms have just had a re-furb so are very clean, tidy and welcoming. All are en-suite and have the usual tea and coffee making facilities, and a TV. Breakfast in the morning is served in a little dining area, also very clean and tidy. The breakfast itself had plenty of choices and was very well cooked and filling. Would definitely stay again if in the area

Excellent value for money. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast kept me going all day!! Drinks in the bar very reasonable. Lovely atmosphere. This was our first visit but will definitely be going back.
