The Sardine Factory Restaurant in Cornwall

Our meal was amazing! We had calamari & sourdough for starter,bass fillet & linguine for main, fries & crab mac n cheese for sides then brownie for dessert.The service was great, atmosphere lovely and very reasonably priced.The one thing id like to suggest is adding another dessert or 2 onto the menu. Maybe a cheesecake something like that.

The nicest place to eat in Looe by far. The crab roll was absolutely amazing bursting with many different flavours. The whole meal was delicious. The staff were lovely and attentive including the chef and his team.

Great tasting food freshly prepared. Sat by the kitchen and saw everything being prepared and being sent out- very entertaining. The head chef also introduced himself at the end of the evening to ensure we enjoyed the meal. Staff were friendly and worked hard. The best tasting scallops. Also had smoked haddock risotto and strawberry pavlova. Could have eaten it all again!

So good we went twice.Both food, service and atmosphere were great. Hope to be back!

Great place, great service and excellent food. Sardines were fantastic as were the starters we had (haddock scotch egg - wow). Given some places with current staff shortages struggled to serve 2 courses in 2.5 hours (Copley Arms), the service here was prompt but not over bearing. Highly recommended.

Dockside dining that sits somewhere between smart-casual and fine-dining for the area. We were told how nice this place was and the service / food didn't disappoint. The three of us in the party had Haddock Risotto, Crab Linguine and finally a small portion of fresh sardines with chips. All looked and tasted amazing. A very nice meal indeed. All three main meals, plus 2 starters that we shared, plus 2 coffees and 2 other drinks came in at just under £100.

Amazing food, went for the catch of the day, it was pricey, but worth it! Friendly and informative staff and the place was decorated nicely

Amazing food and great service. The cod dish is amazing and we had some of the best mussels I’ve ever had!

I love this place! We've been there twice and going again tomorrow. Everytime we're there, we feel welcomed and appreciated. Times are hard in Cornwall at the moment, lots of places are under staffed, busy, tired, pressured because of covid regulations and angry. Not this place! This place feels homely, warm and friendly. And above all, the food is absolutely delicious!! It's locally sourced and fresh, prepared in a way that heroes the produce and not overshadows it. I also love that they have a Camel Valley Pinot Noir on their menu, a local sparkling wine I wanted to try since we moved to Looe. Highly recommend the wine and the restaurant! Beautiful place and people!

This place was fully booked on our last visit to Looe, so this time we made sure to book in advance. So glad we did because it’s a lovely place overlooking East Looe with a delicious menu. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and added to the overall experience. There wasn’t a single dish we tried that wasn’t scrumptious. Will definitely come again on our next visit to Looe.
