We came here for lunch during the March burst of sunshine and therefore dined outside. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. We sampled the prawns served hot in garlic butter along with a portion of scampi - both provided plenty to share. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to eat. Glad to see they are still Covid aware (their face masks were sea themed 😄) Beware you better be hungry if you order the seafood platter. There's loads of it! Great experience!

Absolutely amazing.Staff were very friendly and attentive, they really seemed to enjoy their jobs, singing along to all the songs that were playing.Food was delicious. We shared the crevettes to start, there were more than in the photo, we just got a bit over-excited and dug in.Shared the seafood platter, with dressed crab for mains. So much food, but nothing got left, as it was soooo tasty.I had an afogato (ice-cream and espresso) for dessert, which made me feel like I was back in Greece, I discovered a taste for them there.I had booked the table before we made the trip down to Cornwall, so had it booked it in for 8:30pm. In hindsight I would book earlier, as the kitchen closes at 9pm.All in all a fantastic experience, would highly recommend.

Food poisoning. Me and my boyfriend went to the Shack (Falmouth) for lunch yesterday. Everything seemed fine and we left happy. But few hours later we both started to feel unwell, tiredness, headache, nausea and eventually vomiting and diarrhoea. We haven’t been able to eat anything since, the symptoms persist today and we are feeling body pain.We had mussels and the special of the day( baked dressed crab with mustard and Parmesan cheese, two ingredients very rich in flavour that could cover off taste in the crab?)Definitely not going for a special seafood dish ever again.

Excellent service and stunning seafood!! Our waiter Max was brilliantly resourceful. Booking ahead is a must. After trying to eat here on our first wander around Falmouth and to find it fully booked, we went online and found a table at lunch time a few days later. Result!Super glad we went as the food was stunning. My friends had the crab sandwich and I had the dressed Cornish crab - freshly caught that morning. I had no idea dressed crab could taste that good. It was perfect!Being a little hungover we asked if they served Bloody Mary's and thankfully Max our waiter had a winning recipe at hand. It was definitely one of the best, perfectly spiced Bloody Mary's I've ever had - and I've had a lot. So that was a brilliant cherry at the top of an already excellent cake for our experience at The Shack. If you're looking to eat fresh seafood and have excellent service that goes above and beyond - look no further.

First time to try this place. Nice place, nice music. We had a large lobster to share and it was fine. Crevettes were delicious. The presentation was amazing! I feel they could be short on staff if it got busier. We had a good time.

What a treat! We came to the Shack for our 7th wedding anniversary and had the best time. The fish was excellent...squid, scallops, prawns, oysters, crabs, muscles...all were amazing. A lovely atmosphere with welcoming, friendly staff. Reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. You have to book, we watched so many people being turned away. Thank you for a great experience. We highly recommend a visit :)

After reading the reviews we booked a table for lunch.Lovely and delicious Chowder however for the size of the chowder ( quiet big) one slice of bread.....Prawns were quiet good too.Sadly a lot of things were sold out in the menu on the boards inside.Kids menu quiet nice, have to say the fish finger were delicious really good portion.Definitely book before you go and I wonder if Lunch is a good idea as a long of things were sold out like crabs, lobster etc... so maybe evening may have better selection? Also it's quiet small inside so it's busy very fast hence you need to book!

Great restaurant in a lovely dock area of Falmouth. Make sure to book in advance as it's very small inside. They had a specials menu with a fish of the day and crabs. Our fish of the day was raywing and it was beautifully cooked and came with lots of veg. We had the scallops and the beetroot arancini for starters which were both delicious but small in portion size and the arancini could have had more cheese in! We tried the bacon and haddock chowder which was very tasty and filling! The fish and chips were very good and a good sized portion.

An absolutely brilliant experience! My partner and I had the oyster, dressed crab with salad and aioli sauce, and the haddock and chips which were absolutely delicious. You could tell the ingredients were freshly prepared and the dishes were full of flavour. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Good value for money. Would come back again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
