The Shire Inn in Cornwall

Could not fault the food. Fabulous carvery and scrumptious desserts. Nice staff and prompt service. Just looks a little tired could do with a bit of modernising but that would not stop me going again.

The place is not only beautiful, but the food is amazing. The staff were more then polite. The beer garden is so lovely also. Not from the area but will defo return on our next holiday

The shire Inn just on the other side of Camborne on the Helston road is a real treat. Took a chance on the way home and got a table for two straight away. Table service which is perfect and we sat down and got straight back up to get our carvary and when we got back our drinks were waiting for us on the table. Perfect. I would have taken a photo but couldn't wait to get stuck in. 🤣 Next time I promise.

Good food, good value and very friendly staff. Family friendly. A little gem thats eluded us for 30 years. Happy to have found it. Will be back often. 5 stars. 👍

Car park very busy when we visited, Sunday lunchtime, restaurant was busy but turning tables round quickly but without rushing. Good selection of options for dietary requirements, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc. Staff friendly and helpful, food prices pretty good (carvery £12).

Huge pretty pub! Popped in on Sunday evening for a quick carvery. It was really busy but the service was pretty quick and staff were friendly. Good selection of meat (although the beef was pretty dry so I ended up leaving that) and vegetables, really enjoyed it overall and would recommend it! Had a look at the menu for other food and it seemed quite expensive so will be interested to try that one day to see if it's worth it! Plenty of room for large groups or cosy corners for couples! Didn't try any but the cakes for dessert looked insane!

A nice clean up market version of a 'Berni' type Inn, but privately owned and it shows. 2 good Real Ales, good well priced menu, lots of different areas for seating, but also a cosy bar and sofas by the fire. We'll worth a visit.

Unbelievable Jeff. Amazing food. Had the chicken wings and the seafood dish that was a special. Plenty of meat on the chicken wings, not small ones that you get in some places. The seafood dish was brilliant, all in a lovely white wine sauce i cant recommend this place enough.

Went for Sunday carvery here whilst on holiday , excellent food , portion size Good enough to fill my 6 foot 2 husbands belly ! staff very friendly and attentive , really nice location and well kept , will definitely be recommending this to anyone and will be coming again .
