The Star Inn Vogue in Cornwall

What a lovely pub with great home cooked food, we recently stayed in st day for a week and have used this pub 3 times in the week for our evening meal, dog friendly also which was a bonus, lovely owners and staff, highly recommend this pub!!

Lovely friendly pub. Had liver and bacon , mash and veg and it was delicious and for the price I don't know how they did it. Will.be back again in September

Food ok. Friendly young lady behind the bar, rest of staff ho dear. Service and atmosphere almost none existent. The pub has the ability to be something good but is only ok. Wouldn't recommend it.

What a lovely little pub. Had me tea and the sweet and sour pork was beautifully made. Many thanks to the staff both front and back of house 👍🏻

Good local pub, good prices and nice menu. Staff may need some allergy training but other than that all good.

Best carvery I've had for as long as I can remember. Daughter is coeliac and they catered for her fantastically. The menu had lots of GF options also. Owner was extremely helpful and even said that they could provide most things not on the menu with a couple days notice. Will be back soon.

We attended the Halloween party and it was our first visit. We certainly wasn't disappointed, the atmosphere was great, friendly staff and people. The kids had an absolutely brilliant evening, they really enjoyed making new friends and played in the outdoor play area most of the evening in a group, no problems. We ordered food from the light bites menu which was throughly enjoyed and reasonably priced as were the drinks. Will definitely go back with us only living five minutes away and would certainly recommend, lovely place 😊

Once the seating arrangements and table had been sorted (a bit of a mix up on booking), which they did quickly the Star Inn was great. Had a lovely Halloween display up and was very enchanting. The food was good value for money and they went out of their way to make a special meal for one of our party who was pregnant and needed an amendment to the ingredients.The Mexican night all you could eat buffet was excellent quality and good price.I would recommend this venue if you are in the St. Day area.

Bad start when we were told we would have to sit in the cold outside covered area, even though the place was half empty, but magically found an inside table when we told them we would go elsewhere.Once inside the food was fine. All you could eat buffet was good value and staff were cheerful and attentive.

New outside area works well, sofas, tables, heating etc. Very extensive menu and decent pub grub. Worth a stop.
