Highly recommend tawa dishes, especially with coconut rice. Mango chutney is a bit too hot oily. Lime chutney is awesome

Food was ready on arrival, delicious and fresh. This was our first visit. We used to go to another local Indian but the service there went really downhill. So glad we have found somewhere new . We loved it and will definitely be back again. Thank you

Really disappointed. To be honest have had food here before and it wasn't great. The chicken tikka we ordered turned out to be chicken korma. The poppadoms were so burned and brown they were inedible. The aubergine side dish was so small it didn't fill 1/2 the tray and wasn't enough to share. We won't be getting food here again.

Our local and regular Indian cuisine. Bring your own bottle for free corkage and the food is amazing. Friendly staff and even cliff Richard has been there. Congratulations.

Usually use The Gurka for our Indian takeaways, however after a few disappointing meals we decided a change was needed. Very happy with our choice, ordered over the phone for a collection. Arrived, was greeted warmly and attentively, food was ready when they said it would be. Food was piping hot even after a short walk home in the cold. Food was also lovely! Also very happy with the idea of a loyalty card. Will be returning.

Took a trip to Cornwall with the family so we decided to visit the local Indian restaurant for dinner, on our last night. Sadly, the food was a major let down. We asked the waiter if he was able to ask the chef to add more spices to our dishes, however most of the dishes were still bland. We all left disappointed as no one even asked how the food was and we had to wait ages to get someone's attention for the bill! Thumbs down from us!

Dont judge a book by its cover! Not the most enticing place to look at from the outside. But inside it's clean and the food is good. Some of the dishes are a little expensive, more than London prices in some cases, but tasty nonetheless.

Extremely disappointing. Staff not very attentive, weren't made to feel welcome. The food was so bland and badly presented. All three of us had chipped plates and stained serviettes. The rice and naans were served in cheap plastic bowls and baskets. The sauces looked like they were from a jar, no flavour to them. None of the dishes resembled their title. We're all regular curry eaters and would not recommend this place for authentic Indian cuisine.
