The Tearoom in Cornwall

Slightly off the main thoroughfare, but well worth the few extra steps.The Tea Room has a proper tea room feel to it, with it's on trend mismatched vintage crockery and retro inspired decor, it's a little gem that we'll definitely visit again.Whilst it may have a slightly smaller selection of goods than some other venues, it does have gluten free/vegan options available. And the service, family run feel, and end product certainly make up for this.We've only had cream tea/coffee and cakes here and have not been disappointed.We will definitely be returning to The Tea Room when we're next in Perranporth, and I look forward to seeing what other cakes they have on offer/working my way through them :)

A quaint little café in the centre of town, a few parking spaces outside but it's first come, first served as they fill up quick. Easy access up the gradual slope, on foot or wheelchair. Dogs are welcome, very clean and tidy and pleasant staff on hand to cater for your needs. You have to wait at the door to be shown to your table and then once you have chosen your drink or meal, take note of the table number and order at the counter. Great selection of fresh local produce, either hot or cold and the tables are set apart for the on going covid pandemic. Very reasonable priced and would definitely call again when in the area. Well worth a visit.

Great staff very friendly and helpful had the big all day breakfast and a good cup of tea all served very hot and cooked to order will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Had take away tea and cake today.The guy working there was very nice indeed. This wasn't Steve the owner, who is a great builder (apparently) and also it seems moonlights as a pretty damn good baker. Very bohemian!We really enjoyed eating the cake this evening. We didn't meet you today Steve but would still like to thank you for your delicious efforts. Your mate from Bedworth is also doing a cracking job so you're in safe hands.Thanks,

I'm gluten free and it was a real treat to be able to have something other than a chocolate brownie which is all most cafes/coffee houses offer! Although I didn't have one they also provide gluten free sandwiches too. Was spotlessly clean too 👍👍

Nice afternoon tea and friendly staff. Would be even better if they have mixed sandwiches rather than 1 filling. But overall scones and cakes were very tasty and homemade. I would definitely recommend a visit

We thoroughly enjoyed the high tea we had today, the sandwiches were excellent with a good choice of fillings. The homemade cakes were delicious, good selection and scones melted in your mouth. Extremely good value and generous portions, we couldn't eat it all! The staff were very helpful and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend The Tea Room.

Such a friendly and welcoming tearoom which serves a delicious, gluten free cream tea among many other things. I would highly recommend a visit.

The best scones in Cornwall I've had the pleasure of scoffing!!As long as you have Rodda's and good jam it's all about the scone really. These scones were light and fluffy and fresh out the oven. Baked to perfection. It was the best cream tea I've yet had, and I've had loads over the years!Great friendly & warm service, lovely sandwiches, and good value too... 100% recommended... there is a small car park outside limited to an hour and dogs are only allowed at the table outsideEdit 20/09/18 - scones are still just as amazing and lovely warm service!

Absolutely beautiful cream tea. Lovely fresh produce. Everything made with loving care. Friendly welcoming, clean environment. Would definitely recommend.
